For me personally, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman is just as iconic and memorable as Michael Keaton was as Batman in the Burtonverse and it just feels like a really missed opportunity having just one of the two characters returning without the other.
Going forward, I hope Keaton's Batman isn't just treated as a Nick Fury kind of mentoring side character and instead actually gets fleshed out as a major character in the DCEU, from what happened to him after Batman Returns, how he's still fighting crime etc. But most of all his relationship with Pfeiffer's Catwoman, whether or not they reconnected and whether he still thinks of her.
If the DCEU is going to have some sort of Multiverse Justice League, then I'd love to see Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman be part of it.
Because at the end of the day, why not?
Do you guys remember this? One of the former Sex and the City writers (not MPK) sued Michelle Pfeiffer for pulling out of a Sex and the City movie at the last minute and sabotaging the production? There was never any discussion about it from any of the other girls. Was this a true sequel or a spin-off? Was she gonna play Samantha or an early prototype of LTW? Iβm very curious about this weird detour.
