A list of puns related to "Malaysian Malaysia"
Foreign investors are more confident to invest in other countries such as Singapore or even Indonesia. We see our Malaysian startup that just got listed (Grab) and this does not even help with our GDP or our economy as Grab is now considered as a Singaporean entity. If you should know, Grab used to be a Malaysian startup, and if you do not know why it had moved to Singapore, you should google and the answers should be there. (Sorry I malas to explain)
I look at the news and see that many firms are leaving Malaysia, hence our foreign investment into the nation is getting lower and lower.
I am pretty sure that this is due to political instability and bullshit taxation / rules / βmust have Bumi equity or some shitβ. (I do know that there are also other factors, but I am mainly talking shit about our politics)
I am not an economic or finance expert, but this is what I have observed. I think I might get downvoted but this is how I feel.
What do you think ?

I'm an italian citizen looking to marry my Malaysian girlfriend in the future. Currently both of us live in their respective country. We had plans of settling in Italy. But, while looking for possibilities, I found that I'd need to be Muslim as well for her to marry overseas as long as she's in the Muslim religion. Is there a way for me to help out so she can convert out of Islam once she's out of Malaysia, so there wouldn't be any problems with marriage? Would appreciate help, thank you
Hello my dear monyets, Iβm currently living abroad (vaxx and boosted) and hoping to travel back to Malaysia to see my family in two weeks for a month. I just wanted to make sure I am doing all the things correctly.
These are the things I know I should be doing for traveling back to Malaysia
I need to apply for home quarantine from this website (hso.moh.gov.my)
Get a PCR test 3 days before flying.
Scan QR code using MySejahtera at arrival checkpoint, fill the form, go to familyβs home (which no one will be there) and self quarantine for 7-14?!? days. On the day before last, go to a clinic to take a Covid test. Then I will need to go to DHO with my test result to be released on the last day of quarantine.
Then Iβm free? Is there more details I need to go into? I also read that there will be 14 days self quarantine, I thought it was 7 days?!?
Please tell me if I missed any steps, and/or anything I will need.
Thank you so much and hope to hear from you guys!!!
Hey, I was wondering if this was possible and wanted to most importantly ask how long it is possible to stay in Malaysia afterwards, is it still the regular 90 day period ? And how much did everything cost you, I feel like the fees for travel guide and all the tests are not to clear. Thanks in advance!

The Malaysian bank has confirmed it has been deposited into someone else's account and has asked me to make a report regarding this, from the sending bank (the UK bank).
I went back to the UK bank and they informed me that they could not make a report because theirΒ records only showed Wise as the recipient, and there was no record of the wrong account number I had transferred to.
I called Wise and requested for them to make a report to the Malaysian bank. They said that the best thing that they could do was for me to send 'Proof of Payment' to the Malaysian bank. I sent the Malaysian bank an email with this attached. Nothing.
I called the Malaysian bank again and they said they could not accept Transferwise's Proof of Payment. They concluded that I needed to make a police report regarding this issue. And I would need the UK bank involved, which I had already tried!
I called the UK bank, asking whether a police report was possible. They said no, and raised the situation to their Payments team, telling me it would take a month. After only a week, I receive a letter stating the following: 'Based on the sort code and account number you've given us, we've identified the bank that received the payment. We asked the bank to identify the person the account number belongs to and to contact them to recover the money. The bank has told me that the recipients funds credited intended beneficiary a/c and therefore, they haven't been able to return the payment to you.'
They then advise for me to take the matter further by contacting Citizens Advice, which I have tried and they couldn't do anything about.
I am running out of options here. Any advice, especially legal, would be much appreciated.
