Statue of King Erik IX "the Holy" of Sweden. He reigned from the ca 1156 until 1160 when he was murdered by the danish noble Magnus who took power. Erik was the founder of the House of Erik. It is said that a watersource appeared where his blood had hit the ground when he was murdered.

King Gustav III of Sweden HATED coffee so much that he embarked on a mad plan to prove once and for all that coffee was the root of all evil. He tried to kill a royal prisoner by forcing him to drink 3 cups of coffee every day. The prisoner ended up outliving him.
