So i was a little confused when Mommy put a new, bitter seasoning into the cheese that made him sleep for a long time and made me throw up all night.

So you know that bologna with cheese and macaroni noodles in it? The stuff that is 50% salt and 50% grease that no one in their right mind wants to eat? Well, I fucking love it. It is like one of my favourite nostalgic comfort foods... And I can no longer find it in the Metro Vancouver area.
Has anyone seen this delicious garbage anywhere? I used to get it from the janky old Safeway in Lynn Valley in North Van, but apparently I wasn't eating enough of it (assuming I'm the only person gross enough to eat it) for them to continue stocking it, because they no longer carry it.
Walmart seems to carry it in other provinces, but apparently the Vancouver area is too good for it so none of them have it. I can't believe this food is too trashy even for Walmart, yet here we are. It just seems inconceivable that I can go to Night Market and chow down on chicken feet (which incidentally are also delicious) but there's no place that carries my favourite processed abomination.
This year is garbage enough without the loss of my favourite vile treat. I beg you, if you have seen it anywhere, please let me know.
Whenever boxed mac and cheese calls for a 1/4th cup of milk, I always substitute it with heavy cream. A 1/4th cup of heavy cream is about 150 more calories than a 1/4th cup of whole milk, but it's so worth it. It makes it super creamy. I should be ashamed.
No, this isnβt a case of βjust havenβt the good kind.β Have had M&C from the box of course, but also from Michelin Star restaurants, famous BBQ spots, and misc family cookouts. From white chefs, and black chefs, and even Asian chefs. Have had it with 6-cheese blends, and even with lobster a couple times. Itβs bland and boring. Always.
'Homemade' or even restaurant macaroni and cheese is bland, pasty and does not have nearly as much cheesy flavor or an enjoyable texture as the plain old blue box.
