A list of puns related to "Lucy Bennett"
Iβve been doing my rewatch of TVD and I would have loved for Lucy Bennett became a series regular or at least have a recurring appearance on the show. I honestly feel like the writers should have actually had Lucy in the show. What was the point in saying that Lucy would see Bonnie soon which well didnβt happen? Iβm so disappointed we didnβt get Lucy in the show. Lucy actually seemed like a cool witch like Sheila and other witches that I actually liked in the fandom.
Edit: Iβve been in the process of making my own The Vampire Diaries fanfic with my own OCs and Iβm thinking of making Lucy a main character because itβs fanfiction and as a writer I can add my own twist to it through my OCs.
Watching that scene again she said:
>My mother is Johanna, first cousin twice removed from Pauline, niece of Sheila AKA Grams.
Oookay. So if Pauline is Johanna's grandmother's cousin, and Pauline's mother is Grams sister, then Grams is four generations from Lucy, which makes Bonnie two generation older than Lucy.
So if instead Pauline is Johanna's cousin's Granddaughter, Pauline's mother is Grams' sister. Then Lucy and Grams are in the same generation and Bonnie is two generations younger than Lucy.
With these two scenarios, and lot's of cousins and such, it seems like the Bennet family is big, no? Okay so the question is..
HOW THE HELL IS BONNIE THE ONLY ONE LEFT!
I mean someone should look into that. Is there a revenge seeking vampire sho's systematically wiping generation after generation, leaving only one alive to carry on the line?
I need answers
Early in the show when Bonnie meets her distant cousin Lucy after subduing Katherine, what ever happened to her? She said sheβll see Bonnie again but I have no memory of her returning to the show after that one episode
so in season 2 in the masquerade episode when katherine made lucy help her with the moonstone that night at the party and lucy ended up screwing her (which katherine hella deserved), lucy assured bonnie they'd see each other again soon. anyone else find it odd the show didn't really follow up on that except for a mention of her name cause of her blood and that brief moment where she helped bonnie with the hellfire? like if that's what they meant by soon then okay but i assumed from that statement that she'd have more of a role tbh.
I know she's not going to make an appearance. But, when we first saw her helping Katherine at the masquerade ball get the moonstone, then she runs into Bonnie and explains that they are cousins down the family tree, she says to Bonnie before she leaves that they will see each other again. But then we don't hear from her ever except as a vague reference in season 6 when they get her blood for Damon and Elena to rescue Bonnie from the prison world and then in season 7 when it's said Virginia St. John killed her after sealing the vault in the Armory. So basically, that whole "I'll see you again" in season 2 was poppycock. Which I personally was disappointed because I wish they had included Lucy into Bonnie's growth as a witch.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Hi everyone,
It's that time of year..to write essays on your favorite albums instead of essays for school!
Starting in January, we will be taking a look back at some of our favorite albums of the year as part of the 2021 AOTY Write Up Series. This is our 5th year doing this, so if you know the drill, sign up in the form down below:
Note: the sign ups will be open for about a week, and albums will be assigned sometime in the following week
Copy and pasted from last year...if you are unfamiliar with this, what is this write up series?
---
What does a writeup look like?
There isn't a strict set of guidelines for how to do an AOTY writeup. I encourage writers selected to go about it how they want to present their opinions. Writeups posted across the last two years have ranged from short reviews of the album to essays that are so long they have their own subreddit to navigate through them. Generally, I do suggest including both a background of the artist and album as well as some kind of deeper analysis, along with discussion questions at the end for the comments.
The Quality Post section of the Wiki has the an archive of AOTY posts to date if you're looking for inspiration.
How do I get a writeup?
Below (and above) is a Google Form that you can use to request up to 5 albums from 2020. Follow the instructions in the form, and everything should be fine. Requests can be filed from now until December 18th. If you're concerned about privacy with the form, your email will not be collected and I won't be able to see it.
What should I request?
If you want some advice from me on what to request if you want the best chance of getting a writeup:
Last name begins with G and ends with βnerβ two syllables.
Susan would be an honor name after my mother who we lost last year. Would want that to be middle name.
Patrick is a name my husband really likes and is his middle name, open to other suggestions though!
Girl:
Maeve Susan, Lucy Sue, Quinn Susan, Shay Susan, Kara Susan, Abigail Susan, Gwen Susan, Nora Sue, Marley Sue, Willa Sue, Stella Sue
Boy:
Rye Patrick, Rory Patrick, Bennett Patrick, Patrick John, Ryland Patrick, Max Patrick
in which Crixus is reincarnated as a Roman (!) and fights Lucretia aboard a ship in Xena Warrior Princess (S5: E18)

I believe this is the first time Manu Bennett and Lucy Lawless acted together.
Bit of a long list, but I'd personally love it if some of these people competed on TMS at some point:
Brandy
Monica
Keyshia Cole
Shanice
The Braxtons (Tamar, obvs, but all of them now that Toni opened the floodgates)
John Mellencamp
Pat Benatar (not sure whether or not Neil Giraldo should accompany her - they feel like a package deal, but does Neil sing?)
Melanie Chisholm
Jessica Simpson (or Ashlee - or both)
Mandy Moore
Tyra Banks (she'd be so obvious trying to not be obvious because she's a terrible actress, but she might be fun, or good cringe material)
Weird Al
Jonathan Bennett
Tina Fey
Kelly Rowland
En Vogue (ideally, together - Terry Ellis, Cindy Heron, and Rhona Bennett would be the most likely configuration, unless Dawn and/or Maxine joined. If it had to be one member, I'd want Terry or Dawn. Moreso Terry)
Eva Marcille
JC Chasez or Lance Bass
Ciara (not much of a singer, but her dance skills are insane, and I think she'd pull off some memorable performances in her costume at least)
David Archuleta or Elliott Yamin... leaning towards Archie, since he's better-known, even if I stan Elliott
Jordin Sparks
ChantΓ© Moore
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Queen Latifah
TC Carson
John Goodman
Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie (to complete the iconic Whose Line Is It Anyway? US lineup. No disrespect to Aisha Tyler, I'd want her on as well. I feel like Ryan and Colin would have to compete together.)
Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart. Again, together. Or separately, but imagine them competing together.
Jamie Lee Curtis
Shakira
Matt LeBlanc
David Hyde Pierce
india.arie
Eva Longoria
Lucy Liu
Sutan Amrull, aka Raja (I mostly know Sutan from America's Next Top Model. I adored him, and I think he'd be fun on TMS. If I were more familiar with RPDR, I'd name more alumni for the list)
Jay Alexander, aka Miss J
Natalie Imbruglia (might be more likely to do TMS Australia, though)
Stevie Nicks (probably never, but I adore Stevie)
Evan Peters
Sarah Paulson
Jennifer Love Hewitt
John Roberts
Alanis Morissette
Ne-Yo
Paula Abdul
JB Smoove (I thought he was Octopus, TBH, and now I've realized I want him on)
Grace Jones (no chance. But I love her)
Niecy Nash
Joyce DeWitt
Nancy McKeon
Mindy Kohn
Kim Fields
Tamia
Missy Elliott
The (Dixie) Chicks, or Natalie Maines by herself (but ideally, the three of them together)
Rascal Flatts (or Gary LeVox solo... but again, prefer them together)
Martina McBride
Kal Penn
Aziz Ansari
Faith Hill and/or

Hello there!
This year, I'm doing a themed bingo square with trans or nonbinary characters in every book. As such, I've spent a lot of time (too much time) compiling books that fit for each square. I had originally intended to post this list after finishing my board with a write-up, but seeing as we are past halfway through the bingo year and I'm on track to finish pretty late, Iβve decided to put this up early so it can hopefully actually be helpful for people still looking to fill their boards.
Books are listed under each category they fit, but I didnβt always check for some of the harder ones (eg. first person, forest setting) if they fit something obvious (eg. published in 2021, cat squasher). Books are sourced from the recommendations thread, the focus thread, the queersff database, readsrainbow, various Goodreads lists, and various threads in other subreddits. Also, disclaimer, I haven't read all these, so categorizations may be inaccurate. Please let me know if you notice that this is the case, or if there are any books I should add or remove!
Without further ado, here's my list of 250+ books that qualify for the trans/NB character square plus at least one other square:
Five Short Stories
Behind the Sun, Above the Moon edited by Brooklyn Ray
Diana Comet and Other Improbable Stories by Sandra McDonald
Everyone on the Moon is Essential Personnel by Julian K Jarboe
Glitter + Ashes: Queer Tales of a World That Wouldnβt Die edited by Dave Ring

Love: Beyond Body, Space, and Time edited by Hope Nicholson
Maiden, Mother, and Crone: Fantastical Trans Femmes edited by Gwen Benaway

No Man of Woman Born by Ana Mardoll
Portland Diary: Short Stories 2016/2017 by Jamie Berrout

I've always been jealous of the UK because the UK Office for National Statistics releases baby name rankings by age of mothers. This is my attempt to tease out age related baby name data for the US .
These are the names that are relatively (at least 75%) more popular in each state by overall popularity in the state over the last 5 years (*starred biggest difference). In Maine, 50% of mothers who were naming babies in 2019 were under 30 compared to 67% of mothers in West Virginia.

I picked Maine and West Virginia to compare because they are similar ethnicity-wise and have a large difference in percentage of young mothers. If I don't do this, the analysis also reflects the difference in percent of cultural groups by state.
It was interesting to see the Adaline/Adalynn, Grace/ Gracelynn and Brady / Brody difference. Girl names are far less concentrated in the top 10 or 20 so the names on these lists are generally less popular than the boy names, and the most popular girl names are mostly on the equally popular list. Charlotte is the outlier.
Is this a good comparison? Or is this just cultural differences between the two states? The two states share a lot of popular names too, they are still pretty similar in name style overall. Are there any oth

Here are the names which are at least 75% more frequent in each state compared to each other (CA vs NY and then CA vs WA). For example if the frequency of Chase in New York was 0.12% (or 1 in 800 babies born) and it was only 0.05% in California (or 1 in 2000 babies born) then Chase is 2.5 times more popular in New York than it is in California, although there are still kids named Chase in California.
They are sorted by popularity and the name with the biggest difference is starred. The New York boy list starts with Moshe which ranked 57th on the state's popularity list and they just get more uncommon from there. Moshe was about 30 times more popular in New York than in California though. The NY girl list is a bit more popular.
