A list of puns related to "Lucius Verus"
He oversaw a successful campaign against Persia, and was a generally competent Emperor, from what I understand. I mean, sure, he was overshadowed by his co-emperor, but surely he did at least as much as Nerva?

This coin is propaganda celebrating the conquest of Parthia (modern Iran). On the obverse he is wearing the title PARTH MAX short for PARTHICVS MAXIMVS (meaning the Greatest victor over the Parthians). Note he is also wearing the title ARM short for ARMENICVS (meaning Victor over the Armenians), as in 163 AD they had captured Artaxata, the capital of Armenia. Marcus Aurelius decided to not take the ARM title as he had nothing to do with it.

I visited the Castel SantβAngelo a few years ago and remember taking a picture of the words written on Lucius Verusβs tomb. I remember it ending with β....where you will no longer have the usual comfortβ or something along those lines. Does anyone know the full text?
Iβve always wondered this; did Verus do something to disqualify him from being labelled good? Thanks in advance

Pinging /u/nimajneb. (Does that work from posts or does it need to be in a comment?) You'll probably want to survey your plot.
