A list of puns related to "Love Song With Two Goldfish Use Of"
Hello,
Not sure exactly where Iβm at in this situation but the title is the short version. I was contacted almost exactly four years ago by an independent developer on a mobile game asking if he could include a couple songs of mine in the game. He told me he was looking for song with a CC-BY licenses (EG free to use) but was just checking with me, I told him I would appreciate anything he could throw my way but that I wasnβt βasking for any for money for those tracks.β
It was originally just on Google Play, got brought to Apple and additionally Steam, and today it released on the Nintendo Switch store and Iβm just not sure how far my word goes when he was specially asking about it being a βfreebieβ to license my music for a Google Play app vs it being released in all these other versions.
Additionally Iβve found out that it is not owned by the developer anymore and was sold to the publisher who, again, has not contacted me over any of this. I found this out with a general inquiry to the guy who developed the game, and at the same time I was asking him this because I was being a little manic, I had shot an email over to the publisher, who Iβd donβt know was the owner, asking if they had a good contact for me to use to get in touch with the developer since I still thought the developer held the rights. I told them βyeah I let him know he could use my tracks on the initial publishing but I was hoping maybe to reach out and find out if I could just get a small percentage cut.β So if theyβve seen my email they know who I am and what Iβm after.
So that was probably my biggest mistake, which I donβt entirely blame on myself since I was not keyed in to who owned what until I had already sent that email to who I thought was strictly the publisher. My bad.
But regardless there is still a legal precedent for publishing to more than one platform, yes? License agreements, all that jazz. Iβm vaguely familiar with music licensing costs being a thing with media like video games due to being someone who plays video games myself so I know this is a legal issue. Iβm just not sure if I am totally pissing in the wind due to the fact there is no contract other than a textual βokayβ [ God I really love dealing with stupid shit I did at 21 because I didnβt know what I was doing (ΰΈγ)ΰΈ§ ] and giving him permission for only release is only implicit in the fact he was only talking about the one release at the time without mention of other platforms.
Hopefully thatβs enough
... keep reading on reddit β‘been trying to find this book that I read a long time ago, and although I remember pieces, I cannot remember enough to properly describe it so I can find it. something about: fantasy world, medieval-ish; As the title, a man and woman cross paths, turns out they are both from separate royal families, and they both are on a quest to save the world. magic exists, but it's mostly forgotten, this is largely due to magic being viewed as dangerous and an old order placed an aura over the land that blocks the use of most magic. big part of story entails an evil magic person trying to do the thing that will break this protection and allow for magic to reign again, and I think he recruits the sister of the female lead character. at the end of the book he succeeds, but his success is kept a secret from the masses, and only a few know the truth.I remember part of the key to using magic involved killing, like I remember his disciple killing a bird in order to unlock enough magic to do a thing, like killing equated to drinking a mana potion, which may have been part of the reason magic was "banned" as too dangerous book 2 is about how one of his disciples, the lead character's sister, is sent into exhile, but when a raiding party attacks her "prison" she's given the opportunity to have a weapon and kill one of her captors, unlocking some of her powers, she then tries to continue the work of her former master... damn my 8.56% recall!

Edit: Sorry about the grammar of the title. You can't edit titles, I really wish you could.
Hey, what's up?
So, I have some phone calls recorded with my Partner (A Girl). We both agreed on recording our phone calls on both ends several months ago. We do it because we want to see our progress on our English Speaking.
But, I'm asking this because, in those recordings she laughs. I love her laugh and the way she says things to me. And I want to use those fragments, that are some seconds long, as part of an introduction of a song that I'm writing for her. You know, like "Pink Floyd style", like Dream Theater and other bands do.
The thing is, is it legal? I mean, we're both talking in those conversations. We agreed on doing it. But, I don't know if she has to agree so I can use it like that.
What's more! She even recorded me last time we were on a date, with her own phone. That's how she is. I know that to some people this is weird and whatnot, but to us it's normal. We both agreed on it.
Anyway, Thanks for your time and for reading! Peace.
The first part of the song includes a man singing, while the second part is more dubsteppy, if I could use that descriptor. Both of the songs are complete on their own, bit they have similarities between them, and I remember watching a YouTube video that played them sequentially.
