Hi everyone! My best buddy and me are going to Lisbon 10 days in march. I was wondering what are the must to see and fun things to do. Also we were wondering if its possible going to go to Spain in train (madrid or barcelone would be to far I think) and what city do you suggest to spend a few days. Oh and also if there is anything we need to be carefull of feel free to tell us ahah.

We have a 10-day trip to Portugal schedule in mid March. We are flying in and out of Lisbon, and would like to rent a car and drive up to Porto for a few days in the middle of our stay. Does anyone have recommendations for little places to stop along the drive? I know the drive is not long, but I'm sure there are some must-see spots along the journey.

Looking for someone to ride waves with in Lisbon , Portugal

I am traveling with a group of 3 other people for a Spring Break trip. We are flying from the US into Lisbon and have 8 full days to work with. We figured we would spend half in Lisbon since we are flying in and out of there.

Would ya'll recommend Porto or the Azores in early March? We could spend anywhere from 3-5 days at either location.

Reasons for Porto: better night life, accessible by train, Douro Valley, stop at Coimbra?

Reasons for Azores: incredible nature, islands are cool, great air bnbs

Anyone purchased an investment property in Lisbon that you rent out for now but will eventually live in? Did you use a company? A realtor? Who helped you do it and how is it going?

Not ready to retire for another 5 years but ready to commit to retiring in Lisbon and want to get a property started while interest rates are low.

Ideally we buy a small 2 bedroom flat somewhere in Lisbon and rent it out through a company while we get the rest ready to retire.

Is there a company that helps you facilitate the whole process (realtor, mortgage broker, lawyer, and rental company liaison) all in one or do you have to hire everyone separately?

My dad told me he was filmed as an uncredited extra in Lisbon, Portugal in a Chinese restaurant by a German film crew for either a (TV) movie or an episode of a TV show, crime-related, between 1971-1973. He would've been around mid-20s, is Chinese, and had some resemblance of Bruce Lee.

In the scene he said he was asked to hold a knife (pretending to be stabbed) and the film crew pulled the knife with a string with the intention of reversing the film clip to appear the knife was thrown at him.

I have found a lot of general advice about travelling to Lisbon, but I wanted to get a halal perspective. If any brothers or sisters have gone as a tourist, could you please advise on any key things to know? Food, residence, places to go/not go, etc.

My wife and I are looking to go in March/April this year, from Toronto.

My biggest concern is food. I was hoping to try local halal food, but a quick search on Google only found me halal fast food or the typical shawarma shops you see everywhere.
