The view near Unstad Beach to the north of Leknes, at the center of The Lofoten Islands of Norway. I took this at 2am. For those wishing to see the midnight sun (and in the winter, the Aurora Borealis) in it's fullest, I highly recommend this chain of mountainous islands. [OC]
GETTING AROUND LEKNES?
HI! I will be flying into Leknes in August and visiting the Viking Museum. What is the best way to get there? Are there cabs/taxis? How often do the busses run? I don't have a place to stay yet either, so any suggestions on a convenient place around the museum and/or airport would great. Thanks so much!
