" Lee Sang-min is confirmed as the " Weekly Idol " MC, " a source from MBC's Everiewon cable channel said in a telephone conversation with Mideline on Friday.

Comedian Yoo Se-yoon and actor Kim Shin-young were named first to the new MC. Lee's joining forces completes the 3G MC system, which will be dropped by former MC Chung Hyung-don and singer Defcon in line with the April spring reshuffle.

A source at MBC said, " We're going to drop off on the air on the 28th, " adding, " The new MCs haven't recorded it yet. " The broadcast will begin anew after the readjustment period is held.

Ji Sung (Familiar Wife), Lee Se Young (The Crowned Clown) and Lee Kyu Hyung (Life) have been confirmed to star alongside in an upcoming SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Doctor Room.” It has been confirmed by their agencies.

“Doctor Room” follows the stories of doctors who work with pain management. Each episode will show patients whose source of pain is unknown and patients that suffer from chronic illnesses as the doctors pursue the unknown causes of their pain. It will also tackle the debate surrounding the controversial practice of euthanasia.

Ji Sung will be playing genius doctor Cha Yo Han, the youngest anesthesiology professor. Lee Se Young will be playing Kang Si Young, a resident anesthesiologist. This will be her first medical drama. Lee Kyu Hyung will be playing Son Suk Ki, a prosecutor at the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors’ Office.

The drama will be directed by Jo Soo Won (“I Hear Your Voice,” “Pinocchio,” “Thirty But Seventeen“) and written by Kim Ji Woon (“Cheongdam-dong Alice,” “Hyde, Jekyll, Me“).

“Doctor Room” is slated to air in July after “Nokdu Flower.”
