A list of puns related to "Kurt Schrader"
Our representative just voted to block drug price negotiations, so we're stuck with whatever pharmaceutical companies want to charge us. I encourage everyone who is unhappy with him to call up his office and let him low what you think. I wish we'd fire the guy already, but let's at least make it clear to him where his constituents stand.
Rep. Schrader phone numbers:
D.C. (202) 225-5711
Salem: (503) 588-9100
Oregon City: (503) 557-1324
As per Casey Kopcho:
I know we got climate activists and people who generally want a greener/less hot future. While it was great news that we got the $3.5 trillion budget Proposal through the Senate, we need to get it through congress.
Problem is, Kurt Schrader isn't voting for this. We need him to change his mind.
You can call him at either office:
Salem: 503-588-9100 DC: 202-225-5711
Or email here:
Please consider contacting his office and expressing your views. Personally, I donβt care if youβre a democrat, republican, or independent, but certainly we all can see that passing the reconciliation bill is desperately needed to address climate change on any meaningful scale (even if it does not yet do enough, itβs a start).
On Twitter he is @RepSchrader - or send his office an email from his website https://schrader.house.gov/
Well, you've seen other posts about him-- Rep. Schrader voted against stimulus checks and now he's trying to block our ability to negotiate prescription drug prices (companies which, coincidentally fund quite a bit of his campaign).
Wednesday (9/22) several groups will hold a rally in front of Schrader's Oregon City office (621 High St, Oregon City) at 5pm. I'd love to see you there with masks and signs!
Stay safe everyone and please know that you're worth more than you're getting. I hope we can make that clear to our representative.
Hey all, Looks like Oregon Representative Kurt Schrader will be hosting a town hall tomorrow. I'm not particularly wild about the guy or the fact that he takes a lot of money from health insurance and pharmaceutical corporations, but he claims to only support policies his constituents support. I've been in Salem nearly all my life but I'm only now starting to pay close attention to (relatively) local politics. Figured I'd show up and encourage others to do the same.
Whether or not you and I agree on healthcare reform, I thought I'd post a link so you can register to Shrader's town hall and let him know what his constituents think.
