I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

It really does, I swear!

First off, welcome to Diamond Dynasty. It's a blast. However, it can be a little confusing and overwhelming to a new player (at least that's how I felt when I decided to dive headfirst into it last year), but it's a ton of fun once you figure it all out.

Whether you just bought the game on sale, or have been playing other modes, but wanted to give this a shot, it's never too late to get an awesome DD team in this game.

There are a few ways to do this, but I'm going to try to detail the fastest way to get a competitive team for online play, which is what a lot of people will look to do. You don't want to hop into a Ranked Seasons game with a bunch of random Silvers and 72 Brian Roberts.

So, here's what you should do:

PART 0: TWO FREE 99s

I'm calling this Part Zero because it's a late Edit and I don't want to change anything below. The first thing I'd recommend doing now is the following:

1. Go to Diamond Dynasty > Single Player > Moments > Player Programs > Roberto Clemente and do the Moments. The Moments from the actual NYY vs SOX game will get you 99 SS Topps Now Tim Anderson, who is an INSANE Player to get for doing VERY little.
2. Next, go to Diamond Dynasty > Single Player > Moments > Player Programs > Miguel Cabrera. Do the first two Moments there to unlock Rookie Miguel Cabrera and then do the next Moments that unlock once you do the first two. Then put the Rookie Miguel Cabrera in your Lineup. You can find the full Miguel Cabrera Program and check your status on it by going to Programs > Player Programs > Miguel Cabrera. Basically do his missions with the cards you earn through Moments once you hit Part 2: Missions in this guide. By the end, you'll get 99 1B Milestone Miguel Cabrera, who will likely be your starting 3rd Baseman once you get 99 1B Monthly Awards Joey Votto from the Monthly Awards Program (which I'll detail below).

PART 1: MOMENTS

We're gonna go ahead and do a TON of Moments first. Moments are a game mode in Diamond Dynasty where you (generally) are Player-Locked to a certain Player and try to recreate a special moment in their career, whether it be a key at-bat, shutdown inning, etc.

Navigate the (somewhat confusing) menus to go to Diamond Dynasty > Single Player > Moments > Monthly Awards. This contains the Moments for the Monthly Awards Program. (You can see the entire Monthly Awards Program track by going to Programs > Monthly Awards > and selecting the Month.
