If you just watched the live on IG you probably saw it, but the boys realized that Kenny makes like a cameo in the very back of the crowd wearing a JATP shirt lol you can see it when they show the crowd during the performance and he's near the left side kinda centre at the very back!
also, Kenny kept commenting on the live but they didn't notice, it was kinda funny

I mean, put him in the March Madness bracket or SOMETHING! The guy’s built a whole career off of trying (largely unsuccessfully) to bring back the movie musical through children’s films with devoted cult followings and tepid critical response. The only movie of his that steps outside of those bounds is a remake of the Rocky Horror Show, insofar as it is not a children’s film. Not a single one of his movies is uninteresting to discuss, and he constantly and weirdly passionately hits a remarkably narrow target - usually on television, which is pretty different for a Blank Check Director in general. His filmography is also very manageable if you exclude his concert films, and there’s room for a great Patreon bonus episode about his earlier work as a choreographer.
I finally got around to watching This Is It and I wasn't expecting I would hate the direction of the show so much. I don't quite know how to put it into words, but most decisions seemed like a detriment to the poignancy and energy of Michael's songs. Performance aside, do you think it would have been a good show?
Also, all the recorded scenes (particularly Earth Song) were shot in a very tacky way and no sensibility whatsoever. This is incredibly disappointing, specially knowing how much care Michael put in all his past music videos.
I feel he wasn't the right man for the job. What do you think? Do you know why he was hired?
