Did I miss something?
I posted a while ago about the name Poppy, but now I’m not feeling it anymore. My husband and I are tossing around names, the only thing I said is that it has to go with the middle name Joyce (for my grandmother).

He likes shorter, uncomplicated names. I’d like to be able to call the baby by their initials as a nickname.
Names we don’t like: Erica, Victoria, Stephanie, Catherine, Vivian. While I like names like Aurora and Elowen, he’s not a fan of names that sound “peanut buttery”
I think we’d like something that is a mix of feminine and powerful.
Last name starts with a B and sounds like Bonus.

Marina was my SO’s maternal grandmas name and Joyce was my paternal grandmas. They both passed away this year. We’re not pregnant or TTC anytime soon but I just thought of the combo this morning and thought it was lovely!

My husband and I are expecting our first baby, a daughter, in August, after trying for more than two years and having two miscarriages in the process.
We have decided on the middle name Joyce to honor my father’s late mother, and our last name is Goldstein. I love older names, my favorite is Audrey but we can’t use it (husband’s living grandmother’s name), he wants a strong name that “could be appropriate for a superhero” like Diana.
We both like the names Violet and Penelope. Liked Evelyn and Vivian but both are getting too popular. Our favorite girl names for the pregnancies we lost were Camille and Isabel but those names feel kind of tainted now.
Help us come up with a first name that works with Joyce Goldstein!
