Elvis is the 2nd film covered that features Will Jordan appearing as Ed Sullivan after Robert Zemeckis' debut "I Wanna Hold Your Hand". The late comedian appeared in 6 films in his career, playing Ed Sullivan each time. So how do #thetwofriends finish this secret mini? Here they are from (imo) easiest to hardest to fit into the show.

The Doors (1991) directed by Oliver Stone. Featured in this past March Madness sponsored by ARP. A classic blank check director who may only be covered through a MM win since he has such a lengthy filmography.

Mr. Saturday Night (1992) directed by Billy Crystal. A quick 4 movie series (only a month of Sundays) from the actor turned director.

Down With Love (2003) directed by Peyton Reed. A blank checky sort of film off the back of Bring it On. Big question will be what he does post Ant-man trilogy.

The Buddy Holly Story (1978) directed by Steve Rash. This is the hardest to fit into the format of the show. This is Rash's debut and he wrapped up his career directing straight to video sequels to Bring it On, Road Trip, and American Pie.

Broadway Danny Rose (1984) directed by Woody Allen. No good, very bad, won't be covered director.

I listened to Randal sullivan talking on the king jordan radio from 7 years ago and he said that he talked with some of the Chandlers about Jordan, he talked to Jordan's brother and uncle and he admitted there's reason to doubt Michael's innocence with jordan but overall he did say he didn't think Michael was guilty. Even Aphrodite Jones in 2013 said she doubted his innocence with the jordan chandler case because his mother's testimony was disturbing and I read her testimony months ago and it made me wonder. Please don't get mad im not saying I think he's guilty but he did have a weird obsession with jordan. He cried and begged June chandler to let jordan sleep in his bed.

Randall definitely has some inaccuracies about the Jordan Chandler situation. He claimed he got to speak with certain family members but I dont think he did because he said Jordan's two half brothers despise Michael and felt like he did molest Jordan and that it destroyed their family. The problem is Jordan doesn't have two half brothers he only has one and that's Nicholas, Emmanuel is a girl and shouldn't they resent Evan? Even if Michael molested Jordan how is he to blame for Evan not dealing with themand leaving them nothing in his will. Also Randall doesn't mention how Nicholas and Emmanuel had to get therapy when they were young because they didn't get why their father and older brother quit speaking to them and Evan's 2nd former wife said that Evan only seemed interested in his new millionaire son and that he refused to work and lived nomadically. There were other things I felt like were missing....why does Randall not have an explanation for Evan attacking Jordan in 2005? If he interviewed Jordy's family members I feel like he would've asked them why Jordan and Evan fell out and why did Jordan cut off contact with his mother for more than a decade but yet stayed with his father after he legally emancipated himself.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Hey folks,

My dad has been an avid reader of epic fantasy for years, starting all the way back with Michael Moorcock and David Gemmell. He's read all of Steven Eriksen, Michael J Sullivan, Robert Jordan, David Eddings, Tad Williams, Raymond E. Feist and is waiting for the last book in Janny Wurtz's Wars of Light and Shadow.

I'd really like some recommendations along those lines: traditional epic fantasy, heroic fantasy, high fantasy, sword & sorcery. Ideally something new, either standalone or in a series. If a series, then preferably complete or at least likely to be completed soon. He's not a fan of grimdark, particularly, but isn't averse to fantasy that shares some of its themes with grimdark. He definitely prefers the hero's journey, good vs evil, and a diverse list of characters.
