A list of puns related to "Joint Inspection Unit"
My family has been having issues with a new strata board that has been issuing bullshit fines and tickets for small things like door decorations.
The latest stunt they are doing is now doing an inspection in everyone's unit. My family bought and own the townhouse uni they live in, so does a strata actually have any right to enter when no laws/bylaws being broken?
Iโm a couple days away from calling the Department of Building Inspection for the condo Iโm renting. The landlord has not made good on terms in our lease indicating a couple things he should have had fixed months ago at this point. Iโve already spoken a couple times with the SF Tenantsโ Union and based on those conversations, calling DBI is really my only option at this point.
Iโm not looking for advice with handling my landlord issues. Iโm just wondering how peoples experience with DBI has been and if thereโs anything theyโd wish theyโd known the first time around before contacting the Dept. thank you!
Does anyone know if there is a specific mask required? For inspection I remember someone saying the N95 white mask I was wearing was not allowed and that I was going to get points off
What should I do? Should I be scared? Should I fear messing up in front of the Unit Inspector?
Hampshire and TVP have joint units for Traffic, Firearms and Dogs.
What does that actually mean?
Is recruitment for the specialist roles shared between the two forces, or do they do it separately?
Likewise, do they have to patrol each otherโs areas?
I follow both RPU accounts on Twitter and it seems to be pretty separate. Different cars for each force etc.
I use the inspection tool in AppFolio after tenants move out, but when I get notice on a unit I also schedule a walkthrough so I know if I need to schedule contractors once the tenant is out. Is there a way I can schedule these walkthroughs in AppFolio and have AF automatically notify the tenant that an inspection has been scheduled? Same as when a showing is scheduled for a unit?
my 300+ unit complex put a notice of entry stating
"UNIT AMENITY INSPECTION. you do not need to be present nor worry about cleanliness for presentation. please make sure pets are put up and front doors are not double bolted."
what does this mean? what are they inspecting??? the only amenities i have are valet trash (which i loathe and do not use). are they just checking fire alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, etc.??? or is this a full on an apartment inspection? literally nothing online about apartment AMENITY inspection? pls any insight
