Hi lads. What are your thoughts on Mir's titles defence?
I personally don't understand why people are disrespecting Mir's titles defence saying he wasn't good enough or he shouldve put up a better fight.
Suzuki was worst of the bikes on the grid. Traction issues and they didn't have ride height device for like two thirds of the season and more issues I currently don't remember. And with all those problems he stands 3rd overall. He could have put up a better fight had he been on a better bike like Ducati.
Also do you all think other teams will look to pick Mir up for next season?
I'm going to get down voted to oblivion for this but I don't think Joan Mir is likeable.
I do think Joan Mir is a super talented rider with some of the most brutal overtakes in MotoGP. He is sharp as a tack and handles the pressure extremely well. However, I don't see people rallying to him. I get that it's only his 3rd season but I see far more fans for FQ20, MO88, and BB33. These riders all joined at similar times and have huge fan bases. Let me know if you think I'm off base here.
While, I've been a life long Rossi fan, I am looking for a new rider to cheer for and it's not Joan Mir. I just find it hard to like him. Maybe it's just his personality but I just don't see people rallying to him like they do to Fabio and others.
When it boils down to it, I don't think it should matter if he is likeable or not. He is a great rider and rides for himself, nothing else should matter.
Iβm not sure Iβve gone from really loving a rider to finding him absolutely annoying as fast as I have from Mir. Loved his riding last season, loved that he won it all, the moves he could pull off were absolutely pristine and gorgeous to see.
This year it just seems like every time heβs on screen his whining and waving his arms at everyone else or just ramming into other riders. He seems to be acting a lot like Fabio did when he first hit the paddock, with his emotions always getting the best of him. He needs to reach out to FQ and figure out how to stop crying and blaming everyone else for his issues.
Anybody else getting annoyed and fed up with Joan?
Barely seen people talk about how Joan's drive was yesterday and give him any credit. I mean his gap to those behind and consistently equalling Jorge's lap times till his mistake. Beautiful starts. Hope he can make something of this championship
Am at COTA for the weekend and couldnt find a stand for the world champion yesterday, just wondering if anyone knew if he has one?
I don't see why it should be questioned at all he won it fair and square.
He has the most handicapped machine in the top gang, simply brilliant ride. Fabio quatararo what a monster he is, that was expected But really sad for pecco, he was so good in the start.

God, I love this kid. He will begin to temper that kind of emotion as he gets older, but his competitive spirit is timeless. Go get it, bud!
