Additional Rules
- A driver must take the chequered flag to receive points. Therefore, drivers who retire after 90% of race completion cannot receive points.
- In case of race interruption, a minimum of 5 laps have to be completed before a result can be declared and points can be handed out.

Yamaha are getting closer and closer to taking the MotoGP world title. The stable of the three tuning forks, thanks to an extraordinary Fabio Quartararo, is about to update the box of victories stopped in 2015 when the Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo won.
Read all the news of today on OA Sport The Mallorcan's season was one of controversy, the result of a difficult relationship with Valentino Rossi, which Lin Jarvis spoke about in an interview with Mat Oxley of Bike Magazine, as reported by Marca. Rewinding the tape, the Yamaha Racing director revealed how the deal that brought Rossi to the Iwata team in 2004 was a risk that was rewarded by results: "Winning the title in 2004 at Phillip Island was a magical moment.
The arrival of Lorenzo at Yamaha four years later changed the game. According to Jarvis, the signing was made for a clear reason: "We signed Jorge because we thought Valentino would go to F1. Since then there has been friction and in 2010 he told me that I had to choose between Lorenzo and him. It was an unacceptable proposal and the relationship deteriorated.
Not surprisingly, there was the adventure of the 'Doctor' in Ducati and the experience of the American Ben Spies in the official Yamaha team. After two disappointing years with the Redhead, however, there was a new rapprochement with Iwata. "I went to meet Vale at his house in Tavullia. It was a special moment and he came back with a different attitude, more humble," Jarvis' words.
However, what happened in 2015 brought back Rossi's character in the clash with Marc Marquez, according to the Yamaha Racing director: "I still think today that if Valentino had not called Marquez out he would have won the title. The MotoGP after the race in Australia turned into a football stadium, with fans from opposing factions insulting each other. This has profoundly changed the category, poisoning the environment," he concluded.

Iām gonna throw my hat in the ring and say Ferrari will win their first Constructorās title for 14 years and Charles Leclerc will their first Driversā for 15 years!
I say this because Ferrari pretty much kept to themselves this year and ended car development early in June, spending the rest of the year ironing out any handling issues and developing their Power Unit ready for 2022.
So if they get both the directions of their car and engine R&D spot on, they can potentially steal a march on the rest of the grid.
