A list of puns related to "Jesse Dylan"
Why do you think the board considers Jesse and Dylan Faden the same person? Did I miss anything?
This could be a known fact or completely disapproved later in the game, I just got into the Ordinary AWE site.
I don't have a lot of evidence, so it's more of a guess or speculation than an actual theory. I have read the Ordinary AWE files, and one thing struck me as odd (well, more odd than usual): one of the kids that Jesse and Dylan mentioned did not exist or record. That alone isn't much, but later I found an audio recording where Jesse talked about a poem by Thomas Zane that she read as a child, but the psychiatrist said that there us no poet by that name, but a film writer.
Maybe Jesse and Dylan are originally from another dimension where Zane became a poet, and that kid did exist, but when returning from the slide projector they returned to the wrong universe
Update: finished the game and nothing was confirmed either way
Frosh says it is Jesse
In “The One With The Birth” when they discuss the baby’s name, I can’t help but think about DYLAN and Cole Sprouse playing Ben and Zack and CODY. That’s all really
So I will!
It's funny. Out of all the celebrity children, I think Jakob Dylan is probably the most successful in terms of standing on his own merits in the music world (There's definitely others like Nas, but I mean children of the REALLY big songwriters like Dylan, John Lennon, etc).
If you're not super familiar with Jakob Dylan (I know a few of you are a bit younger here from what you guys have said), he was in a band called The Wallflowers in the 90s and they were massively popular. In the late 90s, I wouldn't be shocked at all if Jakob was pulling in more sales and press than his dad for a year or two. I think around 1997, with Time Out of Mind out, both father and son were in the spotlight at the same time to some degree. I think they headlined a show together once too.
Even if you don't think you've heard them, there's a really good chance you've heard one of these two songs: 6th Aveneue Heartache and One Headlight. One Headlight is still a pretty well known song, I'd say.
I don't know. He's just interesting to me. He's definitely written some damn good songs. I've seen him a few times live and they were all really good shows. It's so crazy how much he looks like his dad. I think the music press and public really grabbed onto him in the 90s because A) He could write well B) He looked like a more conventionally attractive version of his dad C) He sang like a more conventionally appealing version of his dad in a way.
Also, as far as Jesse Dylan goes (another of the children from Dylan kids. He was born in early January of 1966 interestingly enough, while Jakob was born around late 69), I just think his career is hilarious. Because he's done these political based things, but he also gave the world the stoner comedy How High and the comedy American Wedding. He also made the Yes We Can video. That popular will.i.am thing in 2008 or whatever. Jesse doesn't half as much like his dad as Jakob.
Also fun fact. Bob had a child with his other wife (one of his backup singers). The daughter is black and a lesbian, which is just fascinating in a weird way. Here she is on her wedding day!
Just random thoughts! But mostly I wanted to say Jakob Dylan is awesome. And if you see him in person it's bizarre because he looks so unmistakably like his dad. And he wrote some gr
