Don’t get it twisted, my smooth brain can barely read so I got this bitch on audible and listen to it while I make crayon smoothies (only orange crayons for me chief). Now I can’t tell if it’s the brain freeze from the smoothie or if the information I’m learning about the banking system and the federal reserve is giving my polished smooth brain some wrinkles.
It’s actually pretty insane to think that we are in a ripple that was created at the beginning of the current banking cartel system. All of the information I’ve learned about the stock market, banking, and the economy has really helped me to understand what is going on in this book.
It’s been a really fun journey so far. Ape no fight ape, ape help ape. I’ve been helped by many apes, maybe I can help fellow apes one day too.

This is my experience from Jekyll Island Beach Club, a hotel that I now know is quite infamous for being haunted and frequented by ghost hunters.
I have lived in Georgia my entire life. We traveled all around the state growing up going to conferences my mother attended for her job. I was around 9 years old on this particular trip, so it was ~2003. It was just me, my mother and father. We still like to share these stories at family gatherings and I figured y’all would appreciate them.
I will preface this by saying I was an extremely independent and resourceful child, so my parents let me do my thing on these types of trips and make friends with the other kids also in attendance. So don’t get your panties in a wad about me being left alone in the hotel room for a couple of hours or being allowed to run around the resort with my buds
-When we arrived at the hotel, our room immediately creeped us out. Upon opening the door, there was a staircase leading up to our suite. It was spacious, with a dining room, king sized bed and wall partially separating the bedroom from a living room area with a pull out couch. We were just chillin, exhausted from our drive, when we heard the sound of a door creaking open. We looked to our right and the door to what we assumed was a closet was ajar. It wasn’t a closet. It was a brick wall.
-My family and I are Diet Coke fanatics. I used to pound them, even if they were room temp (disgusting I know). After the door incident I figured I needed a lil caffeine, so I went to open a DC from a 12 pack we’d bought coming in. Completely flat. Well, that’s weird. Tried to open another, completely flat. Curious, the next day we tried to open one from the 12 pack we’d left in the car - it was fine. Something had been draining the energy, in this case carbonation, from all of our belongings.
-My Mom had a sweet blackberry at the time. I used to play that little game where you bounce the ball off the little bar that goes back and forth across the screen (y’all know what I’m talking about). Her blackberry had been charging since we got there and was all the way juiced up. After the door AND an unsuccessful attempt at having a DC, I figured I’d play a little of said game. I unplugged it, plopped down on the couch and as soon as I opened the damn game I watched the battery completely drain and die. No electronics we brought on trip would hold a charge. Everything would die as soon as we came into the suite.

Training Buildup Most consistent training block I have ever had leading up to a marathon race Ran 803 miles in the twelve weeks prior to the race (includes race day) - 67 mpw average. My largest buildup leading up by 26%. I don’t care what anyone says, volume and consistency are keys to improving. Nailed all my long runs at marathon pace. Longest was 16 miles at marathon pace with three miles easy on the front end and two miles easy on the end for 21 total three weeks out that I did at 6:24 pace
Pre Race It was a stressful few weeks leading up to the race. The original plan was to run the Charleston Marathon on January 15th. This trip was being paired with a long weekend vacation since my 14 month olds daycare is closed on MLK day and my wife and I both have the day off. On January 6th, Charleston canceled their race due to staffing shortages and pulling away emergency personnel from responding to the Omnicron variant of COVID. Unfortunate, but I understood their decision with a race of that size.
Fortunately, Jekyll Island, Georgia was having a much smaller marathon on January 16th. We rebooked all our travel plans to stay on St Simons Island, GA and I signed up for JIM. On January 13th, the JIM was canceled due to severe weather (thunderstorms and 25-35 mph winds) the day of the race. Unfortunate but I understood the decision. The weather on Saturday, the 15th was forecast to be perfect. Low to mid 40’s starting temperature and climbing to high 50’s with virtually no wind. I decided to run the race self supported since we were traveling here.
Race morning, at 3:30 am, my wife wakes me up to tell me our son threw up. She’s cleaned him up so I take him to see if I can get him to go back to sleep. I was planning to be up at 4:30 for breakfast, coffee, etc and luckily the little guy settled back down to sleep and I was able to steal a few more minutes of rest.
We drove over to Jekyll Island Saturday morning. My plan was to start at 7:30, same as original race time, and run. With the early morning wake up, my cheer squad of wife and son were going to hang back, but he woke up feeling great and so they came with. I got started a little after 7:30 and was off.

It goes by many names. Some regard it as "The Creature of Jekyll Island", others "the central bankers", others yet "the oligarchs", or "the elites", some spunky ones say "the jews", or the "globalists", my personal preference is "the machine". But we describe the same, exact, thing. A cartel of powerful financial interests dictating world affairs.
The usage of the term "conspiracy theory" has turned into a method to discount your political adversaries without ever challenging their ideals. Many might describe any individual with sympathies to this philosophy as therefore nuts, without ever offering any meaningful argument against them. Certain pejorative connotations would be made - to the idle observer - for example that we believe the Earth is flat. Indeed, this has often been used to create an association between such theories and our demographic in news articles.
The growing faction with ardent hatred for whatever this system is, describes a SOLITARY PROBLEM, which is propagated to other areas. We are diverse, but uniform. And such an idea has gained considerable support globally over the last decade since Occupy Wall Street.
You might wonder, is the designation of being "conspiratorial" not rest on the decision-making of the very class we describe? At its heart, being labeled "conspiratorial" is the same as being labeled fringe, and therefore anti-social. Most genocides throughout history have begun with labeling the ruling opposition as the public enemy. No matter how large the demographic, the ability to characterize them as anti-social, feeble, and ineffectual captivates not just the targets of the propaganda, but also the ruling opposition.
As we are also consumers of propaganda and gaslighting, we might come to view ourselves as irrational. Similar methods were used by the Stasi against their population to gaslight them, and destroy their ability to organize.
Subtly, media has also begun to defame us by evoking an emotional connection to white supremacists, the increasingly scary "republicans", and just about any other hated group that can further amplify hatred against us. Tribal psychology dictates those identified as the enemy of the people, or compromising safety, must be dealt with.

Hello Apes,
I have begun to read The Creature from Jekyll Island and I must admit it is quite depressing. I haven't gotten that far yet but it makes me wonder what should an ape do to survive in this day in age with Massive inflation on the rise and instability in on every corner. I am 31 years old, an Electrician ( Not self employed, I work for a company) and own my personal home and 2 rental properties. Im also starting to stack gold and silver (One 1oz Gold Buffalo and 20 Silver American Eagles). My personal concern should I be creating more income by working more to save and invest? Or, is that just giving "Uncle Sam" bigger pockets. Also, my savings, should they be invested in gold and silver or in stocks. I plan to liquidate part of my retirement 200k (since its "FAKE MONEY") and invest it in rental properties. Are all apes only invested in Gold and Silver? What do apes think of rental real estate?
