Fundraising events like this are rare these days because Andrew is mostly focused on early states. There's usually time for a selfie and you may be able to get a few words in in an intimate setting. I've been to 5 of these events and they're worth it, you get to meet the most dedicated YangGang and see how funny Andrew really is in real life! It's the best way to help the campaign fundraise in my opinion!
If you have no debt, positive net-worth, and income, please consider maxing out $5.6k total
($2.8k for primary, $2.8k for general, IF he doesn't get the nomination, you get $2.8k for general refunded)

I believe 90% of the time he'll have time to do selfies with everyone, maybe in those rare cases where he has to catch a flight and has to cut the meeting short.

I've already been digging through earlier posts with the same question, though I didn't really find what I was looking for.
I've fallen into a rabbit hole on YouTube after I got into analog photography; I think analog photography has a lot of great content on YouTube and I really enjoy watching this stuff. I find it as enjoyable and relaxing as educational. I really like the style of grainydays, Willem Verbeek, negativefeedback, Brae Hunziker... (Note: I don't necessarily watch those for the "masterclass photographs" or the LoFi beats....)
I seem to enjoy laid back, photography-focussed videos with a story, not (only) trying to sell me gear (except Squarespace subscriptions). It feels like you're talking about photography or going on a photo walk with a buddy.
I am trying to get back more into digital photography but I feel the (usual) channels geared towards digital are either often too "philosophical" (The Art Of Photography; The Photographic Eye;...) or too "energetic" (Peter McKinnon) for my likings.
So here's my question - are there any good YouTubers that do laid back, quality content about (digital) photography without too much sales-pitches, overly crazy lifestyles or getting deep into quasi-philosophy all the time that you could recommend?
Thanks for all the suggestions! Since there's so many - here's a list of the suggestions so far in no particular order other than when they were posted:
I went to Oahu and stayed in an AirBnB in Waikiki with my partner from Dec 28 to Jan 4. The catalyst for going was the memorial service for my grandfather. We stayed in Waikiki and spent most of our time there or the downtown area northwest of Waikiki. We're ~30 and make a combined income of <$150k. It rained a bunch every single day we were there. We only saw one good sunrise. I blow dried my stinky shoes twice. There were flash flood warnings. Switch up masks to prevent ear chafe. Take a photo of your vacc card and have it at the ready everywhere you go.
This post may be updated multiple times over the next 48hrs.
Please ask me for any questions you have or for extra details.
#Holidays First of all, don't go to Hawaii between or around Christmas and New Years, no matter how much your mother urges you to. It's a painfully busy time of the year made worse by heavy downpours and also when many places are booked up or closing for the week, thus making everywhere else that much busier.
#Transportation Either walk or use the bus for everything. By doing so, you can appreciate the architecture and wander into anything that suits your fancy. We had Uber and Lyft at the ready and only used it once because I fucked up and missed the last bus for 30 minutes way late at night. Uber/Lyft are stupid expensive here. It was either impossible to rent a car, or it was also stupid expensive. The drive share app Hui showed no available cars each day I checked leading up to NYE. I did get to borrow my mother's first cousin's (once removed) car to drive around one day, but driving sucks and parking sucks, so we bussed and walked the rest of the trip. We commonly hit 8k-20k steps each day, but with sidewalks, easy/safe crosswalks, and zero elevation change, it was easy.
I don't actually know where to get a Holo pass in the airport, but you can get one at any ABC store (but not 7/11, a useless company) and fill it up with cash. It's $5.50 to ride the bus all day, so just do it. Use Google Maps to plan it, and TheBus app for live tracking a bus and seeing routes/stops. Stand on the side of the street that makes sense to get on the bus (so if you're going east, you probably want to be on the south sidewalk). Ask the driver if you're unsure of anything, they're all friendly and helpful.
#Getting to/from the airport Hawaii23 was a bum recommendation. It'll be fast they said. It'll be easy they said. Yes we did get a private shuttle to our bnb for a mere $23, but it took an

SINGAPORE - Content creators uploading obscene material on the online platform OnlyFans could be breaching laws here even if they are based overseas.
Those who download obscene videos and photos, and share them, also risk getting arrested.
"While the Penal Code generally does not have extra-territorial jurisdiction, a Singaporean or a foreigner who uploaded the material overseas and subsequently enters Singapore could potentially be dealt with by the law," said associate professor Eugene Tan, who teaches at Singapore Management University.
The spotlight was turned on the site here when model Titus Low wasΒ accused on Dec 30 of uploading obscene images and videosΒ to his OnlyFans account between April and October last year.
He had also allegedly failed to comply with an order issued to him in October last year which prohibited him from accessing or using his OnlyFans account.
Low, who was granted $5,000 bail and is set to return to court on Jan 20, is believed to be the platform's first content creator in Singapore to be charged with transmitting obscene materials on the site.
Lawyers say content creators uploading obscene material are not the only ones who risk breaking the law. Subscribers who download such material and share them could also be in the crosshairs.
"It does not matter whether the subscriber intended to profit financially from it," added Prof Tan.
Ms Tania Chin, a partner in the criminal litigation team at law firm Withers KhattarWong, said transmitting obscene material electronically in Singapore, and distributing or possessing for the purposes of distributing to a third party, are offences.
Created in 2016, the platform, which is based in London, allows content creators to upload visuals on subjects such as travel, fashion, fitness and coaching.
But some content creators had reportedly uploaded obscene photographs and videos to the siteΒ to make money by selling subscription access.
The website charges a monthly subscription fee that ranges from US$4.99 (S$7) to US$49.99, but creators can charge subscribers additional fees for commissioned work sent through private messages.
For hosting the material, OnlyFans takes 20 per cent of all payments.
Content creators have claimed online that on average, they could earn about US$150 a month, with some top creators raking in more than US$100,000 monthly.
Based on online searches, there are over 170 million registered OnlyFans subscribers and over 1.5 million content creators globally. Us

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Singapore cannot go for an overly liberal approach in opening up amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, nor can it go for the other extreme of a zero-Covid strategy, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said in parliament on Monday, Jan. 10. Singapore cannot remove all restrictions as healthcare capacity is limited
"We cannot over-liberalise, remove all social restrictions, let infections rise uncontrollably and leave the healthcare system to bear the consequences," Ong explained.
The Health Minister co-chairs the Multi-Ministry Taskforce on the pandemic with Finance Minister Lawrence Wong.
Ong also explained that Singapore has sized its emergency healthcare capacity based on what is "sustainable and practical".
Referring to the pandemic as "a crisis of a generation", Ong said the capacity needed cannot be provided within the country's usual redundancy provision, and that ICU-trained staff do not just "increase multi-fold overnight or even over a few months".
As a result, the government has tried to temper infection numbers by implementing
Safe Management Measures and exercising self-restraint in social interactions. Singapore also cannot go for zero-Covid strategy as it will cause much suffering
However, Singapore cannot afford to pursue a "zero-Covid" strategy as well.
"Neither do we swing to the other extreme, protect the healthcare system at all cost, go for a zero-Covid strategy, and lock down our borders and society which will cause tremendous suffering to our people," Ong added.
This echoes what PM Lee Hsien Loong said previously at aΒ national addressΒ on Oct. 9, when he said the government had "concluded a few months ago that a 'zero-Covid' strategy was no longer feasible".
PM Lee added that it would be "very costly" for Singapore to "stay locked down and closed off indefinitely."
He elaborated:
"We would be unable to resume our lives, participate in social activities, open our borders, and revive our economy.
Each time we tighten up, businesses are further disrupted. Workers lose jobs. Children are deprived of a proper childhood and school life. Families are separated for even longer. Especially families with loved ones overseas and extended families who have not been able to come together.
All these cause psychological and emotional strain, and mental fatigue."
Balance must be struck
Ong further said that vaccinations, expansion of healthcare capacity, and Safe Management Measures must work in tandem, and that a balance must be struck

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
What did 0 say to 8 ?
" Nice Belt "
So What did 3 say to 8 ?
" Hey, you two stop making out "
I won't be doing that today!
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
