Most recent one for me is Isaac Pitbull Cruz. I legit thought Tank Davis would knock him cold. I thought Cruz was tiny and played into Tanks hands, I didnt think much of him to be honest. He proved me wrong big time and I felt he won the fight by a few or it should have been a draw, he reminds me of ruslan provodnikov but without the heavy handed power.
im still laughing at Tank when asked if he wanted to give a rematch to Pitbull and he said Hell Naw.

Is Zachary, and more so the common nickname of Zac, too similar to Isaac?
My sister's eldest is Isaac and my wife loves Zachary. At first I thought it was a good name choice, but then the similarity clicked.
Does it matter? Is it too similar? Who cares?
I get the feeling I know the answer, but I'm going to popular opinion for my wife's sake.
EDIT: for the record, I'm Australian and the pronunciation tends to be eye-zak more than eye-sik which is why I asked.

He makes cringey Instagram post that seem like he’s out of touch with reality. He’s trying too hard to be relatable and down to earth but then change your Instagram name to the opposite of what your trying to convince people. Make it make sense!
Like sir we don’t need your YouTube video you can keep it because I can already tell what kind of person you are without it. I thought it was a name made up from Isaac Asimov + Arthur Clarke, two of the greatest science fiction writers. (Kinda like Isaac Clarke from Dead Space)

As soon as the phone became available, I stopped playing and just started reading Alex's texts...
It's clear how much Alex has suffered most of her life; but reading what she did to survive, How she was vulnerable and in so many dangerous positions, All alone... Begging for a couch to crash on,... She was just a kid! Through those texts, you can picture her life.
That is what made me truly sad in this game. And what made me connect with her as a character. I almost teared up too early in the story... She deserved better from the world!

So I watched the wedding dress shopping vlog on yewtu.be. At the beginning Isaac asked if the dogs name is still Isaac. Who’s dog is he talking about firstly? Did they get one from the puppy place in the ring vlog?
When Melinda said yes he said he wants to change his name. She said she doesn’t know any Ken’s and maybe he should change it to Ken to which he says he likes Ken. Then she asks the camera should they change his name to Ken. Isaac proceeds to kiss her and says Ken and Melinda.
So my thoughts on this are we all know they read this reddit and I’m not sure who started it, but it was brilliant. So a lot of us call him Isuck. Do you think the real reason he wants to change his name (cause we’ve not see or heard any mention of a dog named Isaac before this)?
I’m thinking Melinda is suggesting Ken because she thinks it can’t be converted to something more suitable like Isaac. But when I think of Ken I think of barbie’s bf you know the one one with the flat package 🤣. I’m also sure someone can come up with a clever suitable nickname no matter what he changes it to.
My late grandfather was named Isaac. We are expecting a girl, and we intend for this to be our last kid. It's really important for me to honor my grandfather in the name, and this is basically the last shot (my mom was an only child and my older siblings are done having kids).
This is girl #3 and we have faced this dilemma before each time thinking, well maybe the next kid! My daughters have very Jewy names and don't have separate Hebrew name (like their first and middle names are Hebrew or Yiddish so their legal name and Jewish names are identical). It is my preference to do the same for #3 but not a must-have.

Amos, First Isaiah, and Micah frequently use "(house of) Jacob" as another name for Israel. There are also a few places where Amos refers to Israel as "(the house of) Joseph" and "(the house of) Isaac." There's a single mention of "Abraham" in the last verse of Micah, which seems to be yet another name for Israel.

I am working on a game, mostly solo (aside from music) and while I can draw fairly well, animation is my kryptonite. Because it fits my game, I implemented a flip horizontal direction to sprites, kind of like in Paper Mario, but I want more than that, everything looks to static.
For reference, it is a bullet hell platformer, kinda like Mega Man on steroids, or platformer Enter the Gungeon.
In Binding of Isaac, animations have very few frames, but still look lively and fluid. How do I do it? Send help. Thank you!

Many of you may know this but I only found it out when I googled the name and it wasn't there on the fandom page. It was one of the references I found interesting, so I thought I would mention it here.
This whole Jugem-Jugem-the-30-Second-Long-Name bit has a basis in Japanese folktales. The name in the folktale also starts with Jugemo Jugemo. It's one of the most famous stories in this Japanese verbal entertainment called rakugo. A couple is indecisive on what to name their child. The father goes to the chief priest who recommends him a bunch of names. The father, still unable to decide, opts to give his child all the names. The humourous part of the story is repetition of that long-ass name over and over again just like Jugem Jugem the 30 Second Long Name being repeated over and over again in Gintama.
Also, FMAB has a DVD extra where Scar and King Bradley reveal they share names with Jugemu.
I'm going to be changing my name shortly, and like the sound of this name. What do you think of when you hear the name Isaac?
