A list of puns related to "Iodinate"
Hi all,
I'm primarily a bourbon drinker (with the occasional Speyside). I've tried a few peaty scotches (Smokey Joe, JW Green, JW Double Black) and found them intriguing but didn't really get to like them too intimately.
I'm looking to change that, and for starters I'd like something that has more of a campfire smoke, but definitely *not* the iodine/bandaid/hospital disinfectant smell. Is there anything that fits that bill? And yes I'm sure I'll grow to love the iodine smell if I spend some time with it, but let's save that for a later day.
Thanks!
Hey guys, just thought I'd share my experience. I had 50% of my big toe nail taken over my fungs about a year ago. It was getting worse so I got fluconizole from my doctor and took 1 pill every week for 3 months. It did not help. I started using iodine after seeing an article on this sub, and it worked for me. I have just trimmed away the last of my fungal nail and the 2/3 of my remaining nail is fungus free and healthy. I applied a drop of iodine to the free edge of my toenail nightly for about 6 weeks. The iodine would run up under the nail where it was separated due to fungal damage. I would trim away any damaged nail every couple of weeks and them douse it with iodine again. I'm so happy! I'll answer any questions if you have any.
I have some iodine from an extraction I recently did, and I was wondering what the best way to dry it was due to its willingness to sublime
Hi everyone, I've just been through IC hell for the last year, and I honestly felt like I tried a billion different strategies, but I finally cured my IC. I'm not saying its a guarantee that it will work for you, but it worked for me, so hopefully it helps you.
What worked: alkaline diet, baking soda & iodine.
The first thing I had to do was develop an alkaline diet, you're probably doing this as well. My diet was: tinned beans (only pinto, kidney & black beans because they are lowest in oxalates which present a kidney stones risk). Pinto/Kidney/Black Beans are the most alkaline protein/carb available, animal proteins are just insanely acidic. I would totally rinse them before heating them up and then I would add 1 chopped lemon & lime, some plum/cherry tomatoes, a tablespoon of coconut oil (no avocado/olive oil etc, too acidic), dried herbs, sea salt & apple cider vinegar, these are mostly alkaline. And then I would eat a ton of kale, arugula (rocket) & plum/cherry tomatoes. I call them the "beans & greens" diet. Make sure to eat more greens than beans for overall system alkalinity. If the quantity of food resting in your stomach is overall more acidic, your urine will be more acidic. If the quantity of food in your stomach is more alkaline, your urine will be more alkaline. Try google "PRAL foods" to understand alkaline/acidic foods more. For a while I thought individual foods were getting me (flares), where really its better to think in terms of the overall quantity of food resting in your stomach, and whether the combined PRAL values are more alkaline or more acidic, because that will dictate your urine pH & bladder pain. In the hours between eating (atleast an hour before & after food) I would drink like 2 or 3 glasses of water to dilute the acidity that my stomach had created in digesting my meal. Diluting this acidity with water saves your bladder from flares. I know I know, I must have taken off like a rocket after all them beans, for some reason on such a clean diet let's say the 'gas situation' was not such a big deal. Moving on swiftly
Now, together with this alkaline diet, I thought I had to rebuild my GAG layer (bladder lining), so I was drinking a bowl of bone broth every morning (contains GAG layer building blocks), but after weeks of doing this I ate something too acidic one day, had an insane flare, and realized "It's not about rebuilding the GAG layer, the real problem is that I MUST HAVE A LOW LEVEL CH
... keep reading on reddit β‘May just be a UK thing (thanks brexit, I suspect?), but my treatment just got postponed for the second time. My TT was in September and my initial treatment was scheduled for mid Jan, now got moved for the second time to the end of Feb. Both times they said they're an issue with supply of the radio iodine capsule.
Has anyone else on here been affected? I'm so frustrated.
Has someone have tried Lugol's iodine. I have been reading a lot of good
I want to produce elemental iodine but Im not sure on the legality of it
Fuck it. I want to start a reply chain. I know damn well someone knows this song.
I found out that my saliva glands are damaged- my dentist said she could tell that they arenβt functioning at 100%. I did RAI back in September 2017. I never noticed a change really. What has your experience been with this?
I want to wash produce in stainless steel containers in water with iodine added. It comprises both elemental iodine and potassium iodide.
I donβt want the iodine to turn into another form by combining with what is in the steel. I also donβt want it to react and cause material from the steel to leech into the water.
If 304 is not suitable for this purpose, is there a metal that would be?
Wherever i look its said "use iodine free salt" when it comes to bird preservation, but it proved to be quite hard to find here unless its one of those fancy pink stuff. Can anybody tell me why iodine is a problem and where i might find more affordable iodine free alternative?
Is it possible to Convert Tianeptine FAA into Iodo-tianeptine via simple addition of iodine the usual reaction.?
so a while ago i had some issues with my double helix, and my piercer actually recommended i start cleaning the piercing with iodine solution due to the extra irritation that happened when my piercing fell out. it actually helped immensely and my piercing immediately stopped hurting.
i started using it again when my friend accidentally squeezed my ear during a hug and irritated the piercing, itβs actually been developing a bump because of this. but iβm not sure itβs helping and iβve read that you should only use sterile saline on piercings, but i trust my piercer.
do you have any information on this ? and any tips to help the piercing calm down after being squeezed/prevent bumps ?
