A list of puns related to "Imc"
hello. I have always wondered what would happen if a PPL student got caught up in IMC. there obviously not IFR-rated. what would happen? would the FAA come after them?
Knowing what we know now from the stories from the outlands, Jackson and Anita are presumed dead by the IMC, or at least it's a cover up created by either Anita herself or the syndicate to keep her in the games.
The messages and transmissions in the pods on Olympus and Storm Point were not teasers to Jackson's whereabouts, they were teasers that the IMC is becoming more active in the outlands, and have located either Anita or Jackson and are reporting back to their HQ.
Spyglass is still alive...
I saw a few geese get pretty close to some clouds the other day and I was wondering if they have to maintain VFR weather minimums or if they can fly through clouds. Does anyone know if birds need an instrument rating to fly in IMC?
I'm a 2nd year UK student with these internship offers. I feel like this is a toss-up between Amazon and Citadel, but I want to rank all of them in order of power on a resume. I am interested in a career in fintech, but honestly, at this point, it's whatever pays more.
Has SOI gone to the 14 week IMC for all 03XX or do some still do ITB?
I know doing the IMC before uni is extremely unorthodox, but I have a lot of free time (studying for the recommended 100 hours is no problem) and Iβve heard the IMC is mostly just a memorisation test, so I donβt imagine it would be that challenging with enough study.
Given that I have so much time, I might as well use it to my advantage. Plus it will make first year at uni a bit easier. Is there any reason I shouldnβt do it now?
The James Webb Satellite was launched today and it was not VFR conditions.
Is the rocket IFR rated?
Is it technically VFR OTT?
Thinking about filing a report so just making sure.
I've been lucky to receive SWE offers from IMC Trading and Twitter, both with deadlines for EOY. Also completed Google onsite, it went decent, but won't know results til January (after the previous two deadlines).
Was hoping to get some thoughts on these options. This is my first job out of college and I really want to have a strong start to my career.

In general, I value career growth and TC highly. I also know that regardless of where I start my career (tech vs trading), I want to be back in tech after 3-4 years.
Had a rough patch at the beginning of the course. Definitely made adjustments and got back on the ball. Just kinda wondering if Iβm screwed when I report to my unit at the end of January.
Anyone heard if IMC is affected? I can find log4j files on the server. There is a new release, the posted date shows 14-Dec-2021, which according to my watch is tomorrow. The build date is from 07-Dec.
Update: read /u/RustyDiamonds comment for mitigation steps https://www.reddit.com/r/ArubaNetworks/comments/rfkfli/hp_imc_and_log4j/honodt3/
The new Stories from the Outlands shows us that there is still IMC forces alive after Gridion, we dont know what happened to the militia, aparently it just dissolved but what happened to this IMC survivors
Nothing much to this but Lastimosa seemed to be a lot stronger than the preds who are apparently pretty high in ranking of the Imc and it was just Lastimosa fighting
Been watching some accident case files and couldn't help but think something... "Why do VFR pilots keep flying into IMC?!"
But at least two scenarios caught my attention: Partial panel while flying in IMC.
The first guy lived and posted his video on it. His pitot tube iced over after he flew his RV-10 VFR into IMC. Despite being IFR rated, he got task saturated and kept staring out into the gray (Mind you, he had a perfectly functional Garmin with Synthetic Vision.) It was interesting to watch him instinctively bank the plane so that the diffuse light from the sun appeared directly overhead. And when he finally caught himself and corrected, my own brain was telling me that the light looked slanted.
The second one was flying IFR through weather systems when his vacuum pump went out over the clouds. He didn't really sort out with ATC what he needed and ended up flying IMC before tragically putting it into the dirt a few minutes later.
I couldn't help but watch these videos and think... "Why not trim, level the wings, and let go of the controls?" (Like if you had no choice. Like a dead attitude indicator and you have no opening to descend through cloud cover?)
Granted, you've made a lot of mistakes or experienced a lot of failures to be in such a position, but. Once you can't see a reliable horizon, artificial or otherwise, even if you encounter turbulence, I'd think you'd be more likely to cork-screw it into the ground while gripping the controls than letting go
I'd like to hear from folks who are actually qualified (unlike me) on what's appropriate at that point. And, yes, backups like phone and iPad apps are an option.

Iβm new nurse who wants to get into travel nursing (original I know). I have almost 1.5 years experience working at a large level 1 trauma center in the MICU. We see TONS of covid patients, overdoses, sepsis, vents, pressors, sedation, and all that jazz. My unit is currently suffering from βthe great resignationβ with most of our senior nurses leaving to travel. The hospitalβs solution is to constantly hire underpaid new grads and Iβd ideally like to get out before I end up being one of the most experienced ones on the unit π . I have my ACLS, BLS, and am currently studying for my CCRN. Iβm pretty confident in my basic nursing skills but still rely on more experienced nurses during emergencies (codes and such). Should I look for ICU assignments in smaller community hospitals with lower acuities or travel as an IMC/PCU nurse? For those of you that have traveled ICU with less than 2 years experience, how did it go?
