My 8 year old daughter wants a Frost-shawl.
I am a decent knitter but all my shawl patterns are neck-down and increase along the middle which makes the elemental patterns along the edges impossible to make. And she's adamant that they need to be correct.
Does anyone know of a good knitting pattern?

What about Iduna's family? Did they all die in the conflict then? Iduna is an orphan?
I have always felt that Iduna's family still has secrets that have not been revealed, perhaps there are people in the family like Elsa and Grand Pabbie who can use magic.

How I would change the whole fifth spirit and Iduna's backstory
- The Fifth Spirit would be like Avatar. When the Fifth Spirit dies the next takes his place.
- The Fifth Spirit can someone with magic. Elemental, Sorceress , or someone else with magic powers.
- Iduna would be born in a royal family in a distant kingdom. In a young age they would understand she has magic powers and she will be a Sorcerer.
- Her parents would bring her in the Enchanted Forest to learn how to control it and teach her.
- There the Northuldra would understand that she will become a very powerfull sorceress and she is meant to be the next Fifth Spirit.
- Iduna would stay in the forest for a few months until the celebration of the dam.
- During the celebration she meets Agnarr but he don't tell him about her magic. They spend some time together and they have fun.
- During the magic Agnarr is seriously injured. Iduna in the attemnt to save him she will give up her powers.
- Agnarr waked but he didn't remember anything. Mattias saw what happened and he takes Agnarr and Iduna to a safe place outside the forest and then he returned to battle.
- But without magic she can't be the Fifth Spirit so she upset the balance. Ξ€o restore balance the Spirits found a loophole and they will give Iduna's first born child magic so it can be the Fifth Spirit.
- That's why Elsa was born with magic and she meant to be the Fifth Spirit to bring balance to the nature.
- Iduna and Agnarr returned to Arendelle and she stayed here for some days until she went back to the kingdom.
- Years later they meet they fall in love and they marry. Before they marry Iduna tells Agnarr everything and he says "It's all over know. We are safe." or something like that.
- Elsa is born but she didn't activate her powers yet. She spend her childhood like a normal kid. Somehow she triggers her powers a few days before the accident.
- She told only Anna and they played together but then the accident happened and her parents learn about it.
- Her parents search for something to help her. Finaly found something that helps her control her powers(like gloves) and since then she is practice with some sorceress. As for Anna they were distant becuase Elsa blamed Anna for what happend and Anna was jealousy on Elsa (see More than just a spear) . They didn't hate each other but they did no
IDK why I'm only asking this question now, when it's been going through my head for a while. But I couldn't find anything official about it. Was it despite everything Elsa who ruled the kingdom or someone other than the rulers, if anything happened to them, perhaps had designated to take their place until their daughter reached her age required before taking the throne ?
What is your opinion on this subject ?
Queen Iduna did write the scrolls Elsa and Anna found later on, so were those writings based on some knowledge she had beforehand or did she gain those on her visit to Ahtohallan?
