The doctor asks the moth, "What seems to be the problem?"
The moth explains to the doctor, "Well doc, my wife and I got into a fight last year. Ever since we haven't really been doing the best, and I've strung myself into a rough alcohol dependence. I've been drinking alot lately and it's done nothing but turn my life to mush. Last week my wife Carol took the two kids to her parents and I haven't heard from them since, they brought luggage so I'm guessing I won't be hearing from them anytime soon. I'm screwed, Doc. My kids are gone, my only lover is gone, I'm a hopeless drunk, I just don't know what to do."
The doctor then responds, "Well shit Mr Moth, ot sounds like you've had a hell of a year, but I have to ask you this.. why me? Why not a psychiatrist, counselor, therapist, why your family doctor?

Guy gets pulled over for speeding. The officer asks to see his license. The driver replies "sorry, don't have one. Never passed my test." The officer then asks to see the car registration. The man replies "about that, this car is actually stolen."
The officer, now a little on edge, asks whose car it is. The man replies "some old lady's. She's tied up in the boot". The officer immediately calls for back up and waits for them to arrive.
The next officer approaches the car and asks the man for some ID. The man pulls out his driver's license. The officer then asks to see his registration. The man hands over the registration and everything checks out. Finally, he asks the man to pop the boot. There was nothing inside.
Absolutely perplexed, the officer explains to the man that the first officer reported that he'd stolen the car and kidnapped the owner. The man gasps and replies "I bet he told you I was speeding too!"
I checked my watch and said nothing.
"Well? Have you made your choice?"

It has nothing to do with Q Anon <--- I can't believe that needs to be said.

He goes online, trying to find some local up-and-coming bands. He finds a couple of okay options: some country, some rap, some metalโฆ Nothing really sticks out as the next big thing to him though. He keeps at it for an entire weekend, struggling to find something he really likes.
He then stumbles upon this video of an old man, playing the acoustic guitar on his front porch: a beautiful rendition of โโStairway to Heavenโโ. Gentle, touching, absolutely gorgeous. The bar owner canโt help but cry. He immediately knows this is the man he wants for his bar, and gets in contact with him.
The musician, over the phone, thank him over and over again for the amazing opportunity. He explains that heโs a retired judge who was pressured to go into law by his parents, over 50 years ago. In his heart, heโs always dreamed of being a musician and to perform in front of a real audience. This is the first time heโll ever get to do it.
The bar owner is even more touched by his story, and decides to immediately sign him on for 10 night shows. The old judge is over the moon, this is everything heโs ever dreamed of! The two men leave the call, happy and content.
That night, the bar owner hypes all of the regulars, telling them about this amazing new act that theyโll get to see tomorrow. He tells them to bring some friends, bring some family, no one has ever heard music like that before. The patrons are excited and promise to bring everyone they know.
The night arrives, and the old judge gets on stage. The bar is absolutely packed, people give him a standing ovation before heโs even started. Beaming with joy and trying his best not to cry, he calms the audience down. โโThank you, thank you so much, everyone. Thank you to Jim, the owner, for believing in me. I know he loved my cover of โStairway to Heavenโ, but tonight, I figured Iโd do some original compositions. I hope you like them.โโ He sits down and starts playing.
He slams down on his guitar and lets out a piercing screech. Everyone in the room freezes
For the next half hour, without ever stopping, he plays dozens of discordant chords while yelling incoherent words like โโpineapple sauce!โโ and โโlove and hate are second cousins!โโ. He screams then whispers, playing notes that donโt make any sort of reasonable sense.
The audience is stunned. No one dares to say a word. The sweet old man seems so sincere in his rendition, yet itโs justโฆ horrendous.
The owner has a million thoughts racing all at once. How could this h

Iโm way to serious of a person and canโt make a pun to save my life. My wife and I are having Korma curry and naan tomorrow night for dinner and she came up with Naan solo for the Naan and I have to come up with one for the curry, but have NOTHING. Help!
So I have a limo but nothing to chauffeur it.

I had hoped she'd be more agreeable to them, but she even started bullying me, grabbed my arm and Hatmehit myself a few times, so I told her to stop with that and Imentet! I don't like being treated like some street Mut!
I tried to tell her, "Babi, please stop!" She, however, was having Nun of it! It was starting to Geb me a bruise! Besides, I hadn't even gotten to my Bastet ones yet! So I told myself Heqet all! I'm gonna tell my jokes, because at least they make me Hapi! She didn't care, just told me to Shu! Said I was a Nemty-headed fool. How rude!
Being a Tefnut to crack, I called for the Aten-tion of my friends so they could at least listen to my whole Set, and busted out with this great Amun-gus joke! I certainly thought it was a Neith little joke, but right off the Bat, they were telling me to Wadjet with the dumb puns, and I need to Wadj-wer I'm taking these jokes. One of them even did a literal face-palm and stood up to leave! I told him to stop that, because I don't like to see Menhit themselves, or anyone for that matter, so thankfully, Hesat down again.

If they don't, you just have to Reshep your comedy routine to the crowd you're playing to, otherwise, you'll upset your girlfriend so badly, you'll end up sleeping in the Shed!
Old family jokes, which means Iโm sure variations are out there for both of them that most of you have heard
#1- an elderly woman is watching her normal sitcoms when suddenly the news cuts into her show to show live footage of a madman driving the wrong way on the interstate! Worried sick, she calls her husband, and says โhoney, thereโs a madman driving the wrong way on the highway! Be careful on your way home!โ Her husband responds irritated, โwhat are you talking about? Thereโs not only one madman! There are hundreds of them!โ
#2- a cop pulls over a man who was speeding. He approaches the car and asks for license and registration. The driver says, โIโm sorry officer, I canโt do that! You see, this car is stolen so the registration isnโt under my name! Also, the gun I used to steal the car is in there and I wouldnโt want you to be uncomfortable!โ
The cop is obviously a bit flustered, and asks for the man to roll down his back windows to look in the backseat. The man replies, โhonestly officer thatโs impossible, as I have 10 kilos of cocaine in the footwells and donโt want to expose them to outside!โ
At this point the cop is quite worried and has his gun drawn, asking the driver to open the trunk! The driver replies โofficer, Iโm afraid I canโt do that due to the two bodies I have in my trunk!โ
At this, the officer runs back to his car and radios for backup.
After about 10 minutes, the police sergeant drives up and with his gun drawn asks the man for his license and registration. The driver says, โabsolutely sergeant, no problemโ and hands him a perfectly normal and legal registration and license.
The sergeant then says, โand I hear you have drugs in the back seat!โ
โOh not at all, sergeant!โ Says the man, opening the back window. The car is very clean and the footwells empty.
Confused, the sergeant then asks: โwhat about your trunk? I hear you have two dead bodies in there?โ
โNot at all officerโ, says the man, โonly my groceries!โ Popping the trunk, itโs obvious thereโs nothing wrong with the driver or the vehicle.
โI donโt understand; my officer told me you told him all of these things. Whatโs going on?!โ
The driver responds โI bet he told you I was speeding, too, didnโt he?โ
A Catholic Priest, a Baptist Preacher and a Rabbi all served as Chaplains to the students of Northern Michigan University at Marquette in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. They would get together two or three times a week for coffee and to talk shop. One day, someone made the comment that preaching to people isn't really all that hard, a real challenge would be to preach to a bear. One thing led to another, and they decided to do an experiment. They would all go out into the woods, find a bear, preach to it, and attempt to convert it to their religion.
Seven days later, they got together to discuss their experiences. Father Flannery, who had his arm in a sling, was on crutches, and had various bandages on his body and limbs, went first. "Well," he said, "I went into the woods to find a bear. And when I found him, I began to read to him from my Catechism. Well, that bear wanted nothing to do with me and began to slap me around. So I grabbed my holy water bottle, sprinkled him and, Holy Mary Mother of God, he became as gentle as a lamb! The Bishop is coming out next week to give him first communion and confirmation."
Reverend Billy Bob the Baptist spoke next. He was in a wheelchair, had one arm and both legs in casts. In his best fire-and-brimstone oratory, he exclaimed, '"WELL, brothers, you KNOW that we Baptists don't sprinkle holy water! I went out and I FOUND a bear. And then I began to read to the bear from God's HOLY WORD! But that bear wanted nothing to do with me. So I took HOLD of him and we began to wrestle. We wrestled down the hill until we came to a creek. So I quickly DUNKED him and BAPTIZED his hairy soul. And just like you said, he became as gentle as a lamb. We spent the rest of the day praising Jesus. Hallelujah!"
The Priest and the Reverend both looked down at the Rabbi, who was lying in bed in a body cast and traction with IVs and monitors running in and out of him. He was in really bad shape. The Rabbi said, "Looking back on it, circumcision may not have been the best way to start."
Once upon a time, this guy named Fred decided that he was rough and tough enough to seek his fortune in the Wild West.
So, Fred found his way to a frontier town and became the bartender at the wildest saloon in the territory. He soon proved how rough and tough he was, and the owner of the bar was pleased with how he broke up fights and didn't skim too much off the receipts. He told Fred that he (Fred) was doing a fine job, but he should remember one thing:
"If you ever hear even a rumor that Mad Martin is coming to town, just save what you can, put a bottle of Red Eye on the counter, and head out of town as fast as you can."
Fred was pretty perplexed at this, and sought explanation. He was told that Mad Martin was an old mountain man who lived up in the hills and only came to town once or twice a year. However, Martin was the most dangerous guy they'd ever heard of and few had ever encountered him and lived to tell the tale.
Fred listened carefully and then promptly forgot all about it. Until, one day a few months later, a cowboy came riding through town at full speed, yelling, "Martin's coming! Head for the hills!" The result was incredible. Everybody in town immediately jumped on their horses and took off for the hills. Except Fred. He wanted to see this guy because he didn't believe he could be all that tough. So, Fred just put the bottle of Red Eye on the bar, hid behind the counter, and waited.
He didn't wait long. Soon there was a noise in the street. As Fred looked out a hole in the wall, he saw this huge, mean-looking guy ride down the center of the street on the biggest bull buffalo that Fred had ever seen. The guy stopped the buffalo in front of the bar, jumped off the beast, punched it in the head (dropping the critter to its knees) and bellowed, "Wait here til I get back!"
The fellow turned and walked up the steps. Fred saw that the guy had a pair of huge mountain lions on leashes. He tied them both to a post and kicked them soundly, hollering, "You pussycats stay here til I'm done!" The cats fearfully sat down.
Into the bar stormed the fellow, ripping the doors off the wall as he passed. With two strides he approached the bar, picked up the bottle of Red Eye, bit off the neck, and downed it all in one gulp. Poor Fred, thoroughly frightened by now, let out a little whimper. The guy klooked down over the bar and roared, "What the hell do you think you're looking at!?"
Fred managed to say, "N..n..n..nothing, mister. Do you want another

The mortician asked the deceasedโs wife how she would like the body dressed. He points out the man looks good in the black suit heโs already wearing. The widow however said she thought her husband always looked his best in blue, and she would really like him in a blue suit. She then hands the mortician a blank cheque and says โI donโt care how much it costs, but please have my husband in a blue suit for the viewing.โ The woman returns the next day for the wake. To her delight she finds her husband dressed in a gorgeous blue suit with a subtle chalk stripe. Remarkably, the suit fit him perfectly. She says to the mortician, โwhatever this costs Iโm very satisfied, you did an excellent job and Iโm incredibly grateful. How much did you spend?โ To her astonishment the mortician presents her with her blank cheque, and he says โthereโs no charge.โ Shocked she replies โno really, I feel like i must compensate you for the cost of that exquisite blue suit.โ โHonestly maโamโ, the mortician says, โit costs nothing, you see a diseased gentleman about your husbands size was brought in shortly after you left yesterday. He was wearing an attractive blue suit. So I asked his wife if she minded if her husband went to the grave wearing black. She had said it made no difference so long as he looked nice. So from that point on it was really just a matter of switching the heads.โ

Over the last year whenever I order something online from a small business I make sure to write "write a dad joke on the invoice" in the memo section at checkout.
I've gotten some lame ones like what did the ghost say to the bees? Boo-bees
I've gotten some good ones, even had a gun store give me the shatner panties joke
But today's just hit peak dad joke status....
They included my invoice sheet and a separate sheet of printer paper with nothing on it but the words "a dad joke" in like 200 size font.
It's short, sweet, super corny and makes you facepalm, but still had me laughing out loud for about five minutes.
Bravo good sir, you definitely have a couple of kids at home that get lots of practice rolling their eyes
The moth drops down into the nearest chair and says โWhatโs the problem?โ
Moth says โI donโt even know where to start. First of all, my boss is a vicious tyrant who gets off on the petty torments he puts me through day in and day out, and Iโm too spineless to stand up to him, so I just take it and Iโve gradually come to hate myself for it. Also, every morning I wake up to the same prune-face old crone to whom I pledged my vows so many years ago. I used to love her, but that love has become like some sun-festering beached whale trying to die. We lost our daughter last year to one of the bitterest, coldest winters weโve ever had to face in this region. Isnโt it funny, doc, how all the prayer circles and charity drives in the world amount to pretty much nothing in the face of that cold, impartial face of winter, that bleak, pounding, harsh fist of a callous environment, carrying on with its machinations without regard to our lives, loves, hopes and dreams? Isnโt that hysterical, Doc? Oh and then thereโs my son. Doc, I donโt love him anymore. I donโt know what it is but I look in his eyes and I see that same harried look of gutless cowardice that I see when I stare at my own face in the mirror. If I wasnโt such a coward, Doc, I know Iโd be able to scrape together enough pride to grab that cocked and loaded shotgun I keep by the bedside table, and just run amok and put an end to this grim facade once and for all. I start with the wife, then the boy of course before putting the barrell in my own mouth. Believe you me, Doc, Iโd be doing the world a favor. I have nothing to look forward to but a continuation of this spiraling black hole that is my life, this existential cesspool that is the perpetuation of my lingering skid-mark on society. I despise people yet I crave their approval. Iโm judgemental yet I care about nothing. Iโm bitter, hateful and afraid. Iโm alive yet I feel like the walking dead. This is it, Doc: I am a living, breathing, disease.โ
The doctor stares at him for a while then finally says โJeez, Moth, you definitely have some problems. But Iโm a podiatrist. You need a psychiatrist. Whyโd you come in here?โ
The moth says,โYour light was on.โ
After four days of nothing to eat I was delirious from starvation. In my desperation I went hunting for the first thing that looked remotely appetizing. Soon I stumbled upon an indigenous macaque, and with a focused throw of my spear I skewered it in one hit.
Only half the battle was over, though. I had no idea what to do with this corpse. I've cooked easy things like beef, poultry, and pork but never a monkey. Fortunately, a wandering traveler came by, so I asked him how I should prepare it. He said, "That's easy. Just boil the monkey. Nice and fast." Then he left.
While it did sound easy, boiled meat usually doesn't taste good. However, another wandering traveler soon meandered by, so I asked him what to do. He said, "If you're patient and want good flavor, slowly spit roast the monkey over a fire." He then walked away.
That sounded much better, but I was too hungry to wait that long. As fate would have it, a third wandering traveler sauntered by, so I asked for his advice. He said, "If you're pressed for time but still want something delicious, then skin the monkey, render its fat, and deep fry the meat in its own fat." He went on his way.
I had three unique options to pick from, and while I hadn't immediately chosen one I definitely learned something new:
There's no wrong way to eat a rhesus.
