A list of puns related to "I, Monster"
The rest are definitely goimg to call ne a nomster.
Because they needed a scare cut.
Consider this an appreciation thread for modern champions designs. I'm glad with Riot's current design ethos. I adore the way Zeri looks.
I cannot understand many people's holier than thou attitude regarding their preference of monster champs over human champs. This unhealthy fixation with "good looking=bad/boring design" is flabbergasting to me but I've never before went out and spouted it like I'm doing right now but the current top post of this subreddit is frankly insulting. There are people like me who very much prefer the looks of modern characters, in fact there's quite a lot of us. To go out and shit out the opinion that whoever decides on the designs of the characters so many people like should be fired because you personally dislike it is absurd.
I like recent champion designs and I'm allowed to voice my opinion. Everybody has them. Stop acting as if yours is somehow more worthwhile.
Luffy will always be the strongest .
Zoro will always be the 2nd strongest .
Sanji will always be the 3rd strongest.
And it will always be a trio. No quartet, no quintet, no sextet, no seventet or whatever. Always be a trio.
And it will continue to be that way until One Piece ends. Everytime someone formidable joins the crew, this discussion comes up, and everytime, Oda establishes the 3 as the 3 strongest fighters of the crew.
Robin joins :
Everyone : Strongest only after Luffy
Oda : Skypeia and Enies Lobby go brrrr
Franky shows up :
Everyone: Strongest only after Luffy or maybe Zoro
Oda : Enies Lobby go brrr
Jinbe joins :
Everyone : Strongest after Luffy and maybe Zoro
Oda : Wano go brrr
This happens everytime, yet people keep bringing it up. There's a reason Oda created the Wings of the Pirate King name. Zoro and Sanji will always be Luffy's 2 top crewmates.
Rant/Ted Talk over.
Edit : The point of the post was to say "no matter who joins, the monster trio will always be the monster trio because Zoro and Sanji or Sanji alone, will definitely surpass that person in the near future". Which is why I specifically gave examples of arcs after Robin, Franky and Jinbe joined/debuted. I had explained as much in some other comments.
I thought it was self explanatory while writing, but clearly I haven't done a good job of conveying what I wished to convey. Sorry bout that.
And personally I think it can be quartet or quintet because Oda spent 20+ years cultivating the monster trio dynamic, and I dont think he will change it this far into the story. And also the Robin, Franky, Jinbe stuff.
Hello Everyone,
The mod team asked If Iโd be interested in doing an AMA on r/JRPG - being a big JRPG fan during the 90s/2000s - that was an offer I couldn't decline!
I'm the developer of Monster Sanctuary, a unique idea of combining a Monster Taming game like Pokemon with side-view visuals & exploration known from metroidvania games and turn based combat typical to JRPGs. Here is a trailer to get the idea across.
I started developing the game around the end of 2015 as a hobby project on the side while having a full time job. Inspired by solo projects like Stardew Valley & Axiom Verge, my aim was to create a game where I do the design, pixel art, music and programming all by myself. In 2018, after almost 3 years of working on the game this way, I made the big step of leaving my job, launching a Kickstarter and started working full time on the game. To help finish the game in time as promised in the Kickstarter, I had my brother join me and help with Story and Design, as well as some freelancers helping with some additional Music & Pixel Art. The Game released at the end of 2020 with the publisher Team17 helping us get it on all major consoles. Also they helped us get a physical release deal with Limited Run Games, which I'm particularly proud about! Currently it is available for Pre-Order on LimitedRunGames.com
By now our team size has increased to 8 and we are working on a DLC called 'Forgotten World' - which we plan to release for free to give back to our community. Also, we're in pre-production of another monster taming RPG!
I'm eager to answer any questions you have!

I'm trying to rewrite all of the lackluster published monsters to be dynamic and flavorful encounters that center the player experience. Give me a monster you'll be using soon and want to make an impression, and I'll juice it up for you.
I'm looking for very particular types of unsolved crimes/mysteries where an individual or group:
Commits a crime whose main purpose isn't murder (or, if a murder does take place, it isn't/perceivably isn't the main motivation for the crime being perpetrated)
Gets away with said crime and disappears with either very little or no trace as to what happened to them.
The individual's identity, or if a group, the members' identities aren't known (or at least not concretely proven)
The individual's or group's actions either don't have a body count (no deaths) or the body count as a result of their actions is very low (single digits)
I don't think I'm going to get a lot of mysteries because this is a very specific type of mystery I'm looking for, but I figured I might as well ask since I'm very interested in these types of unsolved crimes/mysteries where the crime is either outlandish or normal, but yet doesn't focus on murder and the person/people still get away with it completely or relatively unscathed.
Given the subreddit I'm on, I'm certain most people already know about both cases, but just in case someone doesn't know of them:

(In 1971, a man hijacked a Boeing 727 and extorted $200,000 in ransom from the passengers before parachuting and never being seen again.)

(From 1984 to 1985, an individual, or group, was responsible for terrorizing Japanese candy manufacturers and extorting money from them. Then stopped after the superintendent of the police force committed suicide and never being heard from again after their final letter.)
