r/Advice would help, but I need more tailored advice.
Been in love with my friend (INTJ) for a little over a year and it's finally sunk that he isn't interested in me that way. idk why it's taken this long tbh, but eh...acceptance is the first step I guess.
As an INTP (or someone who's dealt with them personally) do you have any advice for me? My immediate thought is to dive straight into work and get a promotion out of the heartbreak. Hopefully restructuring who I am at a fundamental level as I'm at it. I'm kinda leaning towards becoming my career (I love what I'm doing now, so a little extra effort would catapult me far honestly) and completely changing my image.
I'm already on a bit of a social media hiatus (have been for a little over a month) and want to just keep going. Though that may just backfire with where I am emotionally. I'm kinda confused. And hurt a lot cause this isn't the first or second time and I'm starting to think that I may be the problem.
Anyways, yeah...any words to say over my intermittent grave?

My long distance gf just broke up with me last night. I started thinking it was going to happen just before TLOP's anniversary . When we started dating she said she was willing to wait until she could visit me, now only a month and a half later she got tired. Don't say you will, unless you will. I wish that song would've really come true😔
