A list of puns related to "Hamilton Musical Food"
So they do both literally sing together in Dear Theodosia, but I'm also thinking about using each other's lines. This happens in "Quiet Uptown" where Hamilton quotes Burr and Eliza's lines, because he is too shattered to think of his own words. Is there anywhere else where Ham uses Burr's words, or vice verse?
Also, what lines of Burrβs do you think best encapsulate his character (beyond βwait for itβ)? Thanks all, super looking forward to seeing what you all think!
Hi!
I just won the lottery for Hamilton on TodayTix and got two tickets for Β£10 each, but just as I got happy that I won, I realized that I would not be able to attend the show as I am working that day (and partly due to the travelling chaos caused by Covid).
Details of the show:
16 December, 2:30 PM GMT
150 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 5EA
Tickets are for Stalls Row A, Seat 18-19
So if anyone is interested or would like to attend the show, I would be happy to give the tickets away as sort of an early Christmas gift! Just promise me that you will not resell them haha, I want these tickets to go to someone actually going and not trying to make a profit :)
EDIT: The tickets have been given away, I'm sorry if you didn't receive the tickets. If I had more tickets I would give one for you all, but I only had two... Thank you for being kind, and I hope you all have a great Christmas! :)
What's your favourite song if you like it?
We had tickets to this Sunday's performance of Hamilton. Sadly, all shows are "postponed". These tickets were Christmas gifts to our kids. Does any know if Hamilton will actually return to SLC in the next year or so? If not, we need to make other gift plans for our kids. THank you for your input.
He should becase it is amazing here is the part he showed us if you don't know
I've been listening to the Hamilton tracks and no matter how many times I listen, I still get GOOSEBUMPS
so fans of Hamilton, what is another musical you recommend ??
Pretty much what it says on the tin :) Iβve recently re-fallen in love with the soundtrack, and itβs been quite on my mind lately! Letβs discuss! Happy Yule season everyone :)

I am a musical theater nerd and I am currently really into the Lafayette character in Hamilton and his rap style. I know this is patterned after real artists. Who should I check out?
So my girlfriend recently got me into musical theaters due to the fact that I wanted her to watch some of the stuff I liked So she took me to in the heights we watched Hamilton on Disney Plus watch the greatest showman because we were bored and got a ton of dear Evan Hansen music on my playlists along with a few others
So after realizing I am slowly but surely becoming a fan of musical theater And with West side stories movie adaptation coming up I'm thinking what other musicals are out there that I could either take My girlfriend to that either have a good movie adaptation coming to Cincinnati Ohio or got what Hamilton had and is on a streaming service somewhere or I could just watch it on TV
As you may or may not know I love musicals and I love LITG- I now challenge you all to find a role for one, some, or all the season 1 characters as someone from Hamilton the Musical.
They both had issues but these musicals made me and a lot of other people fall in love with their respective time periods, and had life stories that fit surprisingly well into a dramatic musical, so maybe there should be more for people to get interested in other people and times, in your opinion, what historical figure could have their own. With drama romance and all that jazz.
For me I would love one about the life of either Sun Yat Sen or Suleyman the Magnificent.
Both have really beautiful and tragic life stories that would fit a play amazingly. Suns lifelong struggle for a Chinese republic met with constant failure, and marrying the love of his life, while technically still married, and with a former friend who now disowns him and his daughter for the marriage.
And Suleyman had a great life as well falling in love with a Polish(?) slave heβd make the Sultana at the expense of his former wife who had his eldest son, and as his life goes on events further deteriorate as he executes his son and his former best friend for perceived disloyalty until heβs left with nothing.
I know this post is kinda sappy but itβs why I love history, that people can have extremely moving stories more interesting than fiction that people can understand and even relate to.
Was there a political scandal in Albany regarding corruption sometime in the late 1700s? Was Hamilton somehow involved? I know that the musical has a lot of issues in regards to historical accuracy, but I was hoping that maybe there might be a bit more to this than a throwaway line. The song also mentions the Levi Weeks case, but that might not be helpful timeline-wise because within the context of the musical it's before the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and the murder trial took place in 1800.
