A list of puns related to "Glenn Talbot"
I'm rewatching the series for the third time. In season 2 episode 1, we meet Glenn Talbot's son for the first time. Carla says he is 11. So in 2018 (season 5), he should be 15 or 16. But he still looks 11. What happened?
just as question says
Powers are allowed
It was said that Ruby's genetic was optimize for infusion yet after 8% she is already out of control and eating her away. But Talbot is just a regular dude, not even inhuman aka Daisy, how can he willy nilly become Graviton? It's like "being design for the infusion process" does not even make a difference. Red Skull got the serum and he got a deformed face and Talbot just comes out perfectly normal? The Graviton reveal was great but all the backstory on Hale and Ruby becomes moot.
ETA: I am not having problems with Ruby losing control because of the voices, I am having problems with Talbot not having any problems from the Gravitonium. His mind state may be strong enough/unhinged enough to suppress/control the voices but that doesn't negate the fact that his body an ordinary human body can go through the process without a single side effect. And if you say "anybody can get in the chamber, he's just lucky", then my point is, Ruby's engineered DNA backstory becomes irrelevant.
Talbot succeeds in defeating Quake, and waits until Thanos arrives in Wakanda. There, they confront each other. Who wins?
Round 1: Thanos has no stones
Round 2: Thanos has the Power Stone
Feats for Talbot:
Can fly on his own power at similar speeds to Quake, estimated at 300-400 mph
Lifted the Quinjet and used it to fly himself around
Summoned 100+ foot tall stone spikes out of the ground
Had passive shields that made him bulletproof; even a supersonic speedster canβt break through them
Flipped over 2 SUVs
Can drink people Cell-style
Casually crushed four bulletproof beings to a pulp simultaneously with a flick of the wrist
Tanked a blast that launched him into space at Mach 33 (escape velocity). He suffered no visible physical damage, and only died of suffocation.
In an alternate timeline, caused a 12.8 earthquake on the Richter Scale
Weaknesses: Needs to eat, drink, sleep, and breathe
Is Glenn Talbot supposed to be some minor hero/villain? I canβt seem to find anything on him. I have loved his character development throughout the seasons. Going from enemy to ally to enemy again. Just curious if he is supposed to represent some unmentioned character.
Talbot has been featured in nearly every episode this season, and he's developed a small group of fans. I want to show my support of him by rocking that mustache on my flair.
Darth Vader VS He who must not be named VS Glenn Talbot/Graviton.
Battle takes place on Coruscant.
"Creel was a boxer, nicknamed the Crusher. Turns out any opponent has a glass jaw when you have steel fists under your gloves. Garrett thought he'd be an asset. Now, once Creel touches a substance, he can absorb it and somehow consciously transform the molecules of his body into that substance. He wouldn't tell us how, but he enjoys the way it feels... Almost as much as he enjoys killing." - Grant Ward
Carl Creel was previously a highly-respected boxer known as "Crusher" who underwent HYDRA experiments where he gained the ability to transform into any material he touches. When S.H.I.E.L.D. deemed him too dangerous, they sent over John Garrett to terminate him but he instead faked his death and had him brainwashed as an assassin for HYDRA. After a run-in with S.H.I.E.L.D. concerning a very dangerous object, he was captured and put into the custody of General Glenn Talbot where he eventually broke free from HYDRA's mental control and became Talbot's personal bodyguard. When Talbot was put out-of-commission by a bullet to the head, Creel lived a quiet life before reluctantly joining General Hale's team.
All feats are from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the episode sources to them can be found by hovering over them.

The funeral director was asking us what we think Mum should wear in her casket.
Mum always loved to wear sarongs (fabric wraps that go around the torso and drape downward a bit like a long skirt would), so my uncle suggested that she wear a sarong in there.
The funeral director looked a bit confused, as did some of our family members, to which my uncle added:
"What's sarong with that?"
I started laughing like an idiot. He was proud of it too. The funeral director was rather shocked. We assured her, and our more proper relatives, that Mum would've absolutely loved the joke (which is very true).
His delivery was perfect. I'll never forget the risk he took. We sometimes recall the moment as a way help cushion the blows of the grieving process.
--Edit-- I appreciate the condolences. I'm doing well and the worst is behind me and my family. But thanks :)
--Edit-- Massive thanks for all the awards and kind words. And the puns! Love 'em.

But Bill kept the Windows
True story; it even happened last night. My 5-year-old son walks up behind me and out of the blue says, "hey."
I turn to him and say, "yeah, kiddo? What's up?"
He responds, "it's dead grass."
I'm really confused and trying to figure out what's wrong and what he wants from me. "What? There's dead grass? What's wrong with that?"
.
.
.
He says, totally straight-faced, "hay is dead grass," and runs off.
You officially hit rock bottom
No it doesn't.
