Michael, a longtime resident of Gilroy, passed away on November 1, 2021.Β Never a kinder more gentle man did I know than my husband, Michael.
For those who knew Mike, you know that he was a good and honest man.Β He was kind, considerate, and always polite.
Mike was adamant that people know what happened to him that caused his early and unexpected death.
Message from Mike: βMany nurses and non-nursing staff begged me and my wife to get the truth out to the public about the Covid-19 vaccines because the truth of deaths from the vaccine was being hidden within the medical profession. I promised I would get the message out.Β So, here is my message: I was afraid of getting the vaccine for fear that I might die. At the insistence of my doctor, I gave in to pressure to get vaccinated.Β On August 17th I received the Moderna vaccine and starting feeling ill three days later. I never recovered but continued to get worse. I developed multisystem inflammation and multisystem failure that medical professionals could not stop. My muscles disappeared as if to disintegrate. I was in ICU for several weeks and stabbed with needles up to 24 times a day for those several weeks, while also receiving 6 or 7 IVs at the same time (continuously). It was constant torture that I cannot describe. I was no longer treated as a human with feelings and a life. I was nothing more than a covid vaccine human guinea pig and the doctors excited to participate in my fascinating progression unto death. If you want to know more, please ask my wife.Β I wished I would have never gotten vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, donβt do it unless you are ready to suffer and die.β

favorite wineries in these areas? opening a natural wine and craft beer taproom and want to purvey the best
Note: The emphasis should be on the bigger, well-established annual events, so at least a decade old. If you add a comment about an event, please include the location, date(s), description, and a link.
It is amazing how many interesting annual events California has, plus the variety of those events. For example, I spent one year mostly going to various ethnic festivals in SoCal: a Tet Festival in Westminster, the Nisei Festival in Little Tokyo, a Pan-Pacific festival in Wilmington (now held at the LB Aquarium), Fiesta Broadway in DTLA, etc. I think I went to about a dozen of them. Good food, interesting music, dancing, vendor booths, etc. They were all pretty interesting. Another year I went to mostly small to mid-sized music events. Unfortunately many of those are no longer around. :(
Here's a list of some of the types of festivals and annual events that can be found in California with some rather random examples:
What are your favorites?
So I did a thing and signed up for my first trail race/"marathon" earlier today, a 50k race in November around Mt Tam. Never done a marathon, let alone a timed run longer than 3 miles, though my longest day on trail is 30 miles on the JMT between just before Silver Pass to VVR. I was able to do this with only mild discomfort but had somewhat serious issues with electrolytes/salt (pretty much didn't take in enough). I've made this out and back to sort of test myself to see where I'm at since I haven't really pushed myself since the JMT in July. So my goal is to try to really push myself and stay on top of my salt/electrolyte intake so I'm not pruning up when the adrenaline runs out.
Location/temp range/specific trip description: Solo trip at Henry Coe SP using a 60-ish mile out and back I created using various trails/roads throughout the park. Temps should see highs of 80's and lows of 50's, maybe high 40s.
Goal Baseweight (BPW): Sub 6lb
Budget: No budget nor time for this since I'll be out there this weekend. Pretty much just looking to see what could logically removed, maybe swapped if I have it but didn't list it.
Non-negotiable Items: Pretty much everything unless you can rationalize leaving it behind completely and not replacing it
Solo or with another person?: Solo AF
Additional Information: Since the race has an 8.5 hour time limit I won't be carrying much of this kit (waiting on my running vest before making a lighterpack for that) but will likely carry about 5-6 pounds total given there will be aid stations about every 5-8 miles along the course. That said, I think I might drop my shelter system entirely since I'm not see any chance of rain this weekend.
Also, no poop kit because this park has pit toilets all over, so I've never once had to dig a cathole.

EDIT:
For those curious: this didn't work out to plan unfortunately. Work kept me up until 2am then I proceeded to forget to change my phone and pull something in my chest/back that limited the range of motion in my left arm. I still went out but much later in the day and opted to slowly jog flats (this was kind of painful to my arm/rib cage but this has since subsided significantly) while hiking everything else to Kelly lake for about 13-ish miles (26 total), a far cry from my goal but I was only moving for about 4 hours both days. Definitely got strange looks even f
