If you don't follow the story, in A Song of Ice and Fire and its TV adaptation Game of Thrones, bastard children of highborn/noble men cannot bear their parents' last name but have to take a set last name based on where they were born (i.e. Jon Snow is bastard from the Kingdom of the North and thus calls himself Snow instead of Stark, his father's name)

Hilarious to me that the man with a Game of Thrones room in his house, has read all the books and supposedly seen all the episodes multiple time’s does this.

Of course his name is always hot, but do you think that they revealed it seemingly a bit too early because Game of Thrones was ending and his name was even hotter than usually?

I was reading an article written by Emilia Clarke, the character who plays Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO TV series "Game of Thrones." In the article she gave her full name:

I think it is absolutely gorgeous! I am not usually a fan of more than two middle names, but somehow this combination feels utterly perfect.
What do you think of her name? Thoughts on multiple middle names like this?

I love the name Renly, but I feel like it fits too well in the mainstream -ee or -leigh sounds. Like, I'm sure there's a Wrennleigh somewhere in the suburbs : (
My cousin named her daughter Khaleesi, and while I was shocked, a lot of people I asked thought it was badass.
What are some of your favorites?
Naming your child after a character from a TV, movie or book series that isn't finished yet is risky. Really risky. Especially if the name can't be easily passed off as being nothing to do with the character.
Condolences to those people in the past 10 years who gave their kid certain names in honour of a favourite GoT character. I'd be interested to know what those parents plan on doing.

GRRM: To a greater or lesser degree, yes, but the amount of control varies widely.
Q: Yes, I know that Lady is dead, but assuming they were all alive and all the children as well, would all the wolves have bonded to the kids as Bran and Summer did?
GRRM: Bran and Summer are somewhat of a special case.
In this essay, we’ll investigate how Bran and Summer are a special case. My hypothesis is that theirs is the strongest bond simply because Bran seems to be the strongest telepath. Bran is the first and only Stark thus far in the story with the power to consciously enter the wolf and control his actions. Arya actively uses a cat’s vision, but has yet to demonstrate full control or to consciously enter Nymeria. She did perhaps exert her will when she compelled her to save Catelyn, but that was a seemingly subconscious act in a dream. Thus far, Ghost is in charge in all of Jon’s wolf dreams, although he does now remember them, and realizes that they are real.
This essay is a line-by-line investigation of every mention of Summer in the text, including the wolf dreams and every thought Bran has inside the wolf. In the first volume, we see how their bond initially develops similar to the other Stark-direwolf connections but how Bran’s powers develop faster due to his coma, the ministrations of other actors in his dreams. One thing that is pervasive in Bran, specifically, is his wish to be in a whole body. It shows up in his anger and shame at being called a cripple or pitied. It shows up in his penchant for staying way too long inside Summer's skin. It shows up in his unfortunate choice to repeatedly invade Hodor's body. Quite a big nerd here. I've been obsessed with Valyrian names cuz they just sound so elegant and sophisticated and they're kinda 'flowy' sounding, if you know what I mean. Strong royal vibes as well, especially "Rhaenyra".
