It's incredibly disheartening to read through all of the negativity here the last few days. While I fully understand the frustration some of you are feeling, I'm not sure it's necessary to be feeling it. I thought it was important to say a few things on their own instead of replying to every single comment.. Though I will continue to if I have to.
This is an EXCITING time for us all. GalaxySwap is finally coming!! Yes, the market sucks. Yes, our price is down. Are we really going to let that stop us? Are you really going to let something like a dollar amount ruin this moment for you?

So I just got the Ms. Pac-Man with riser and light up marquee from Walmart. I applied the updated firmware with the dip switch settings/screen smoothing options, and that was straightforward enough.
I’ve been wanting a cab with Dig Dug on it for a while but missed theversion with included Dig Dug and ended up with the version from Walmart with Galaxian.
Which got me to thinking, has anyone tried applying the firmware for the other (Best Buy) Ms Pac-Man cab to the Walmart cab? I know it’s not recommended and not supported but it’s got me wondering how different the hardware would really be, and what would prevent one from working on the other.

I've been trying to create a recipe for Galaxian that has better sound.
On PC, Mame 2010 and 2016, Galaxian seems to sound much better, than the 2003 version.
While mixing for Legends:
using MAME2010 core... it either won't load or hangs/crashes.
MAME2016 core runs... but slowly.
Has anyone had better luck cooking this one up?
I know almost nothing about the Vic-20 and picked up Galaxian for it at a flea market cause I thought it was like a dev cart for an atari. After doing research I understand what it is but I cant find anything about Galaxian for the Vic-20. No sold listsings, Wikipedia, nothing. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I hope this isn't too basic, but I'm not terribly familiar with Galaxian. The fire button seems extremely slow and I'm thinking about replacing it, but I'm not sure if it's the button or just the way the game is supposed to be.
If I want to replace it anyway but prefer the concave button style, which buttons would you recommend? I see a lot of people prefer the other type.
