A list of puns related to "Funny High School Graduation"
I was telling a co-worker this ridiculous story today and figured I should share this with the reddit world now that I'm freshly addicted. It's a long story, but I promise you'll enjoy the hell out of it. This happened back in 2010 during the last month of my senior year of high school.
A tiny bit of backstory: I was in my school's drumline (I was captain too) in high school, and during band class we practiced on drumpads in the hallway outside the band room. We frequently pulled stupid pranks on one another during practices, both during school hours and after school. It was just part of being in the drumline.
Well... on one particular occasion during band class early in the school day a couple of my friends decided they wanted to "pants" me while I was drumming (that's when you randomly sneak up behind someone and pull their pants/shorts down). Don't worry... it was just the shorts (not underwear). Little did I realize... one of my friends was filming it on his phone.
So they went ahead and pulled my shorts down while I was practicing and it was funny, and we all laughed, and I even saw the short video my friend took on his flip phone. I figured he was going to delete it shortly after, and didn't think much of it...
THEN, during my AP Physics class, last period of the school day, I get called down to the Dean's office (Dean of Discipline). Everyone in the classroom was confused as hell, including my teacher. By that point in my high school career, I was already known as one of the top 10 ranked students of our graduating class, I was actively tutoring students in Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and Physics after school, I was a super nerdy/nice kid... taking four AP courses at the time (those are college-level courses taken in high school). I was literally the polar opposite of a troublemaker.
So I head to the Dean's office. The dean holds up a flip phone and asks, "Is this you in this video?" And he plays the clip my friend took during band class. "Yes" I replied. Then he asks, "Did you tell any teachers about this happening?" Me: "No, it was just a drumline prank, we pull stupid pranks on each other in drumline all the time - we're all close friends. It's really no big deal." Then I get sent back to physics class.
On the way I saw one of my drumline friends heading in the opposite direction towards the Dean's office. I asked what happened, and he said the drummer with the flip phone got caught in his history class showing a friend the
... keep reading on reddit β‘Title; I live in the same town as Woody did when he was in high school, Ocean City NJ, and graduated at the same high school a few years ago. Iβve been a fan of the show for about two years, but not while I was in school. However, my mom and all of her siblings also went to OCHS, potentially with WoodT. Iβm bound to have some classic woody pics hidden around the house somewhere. Do any of yβall know what year he graduated so we can find some old woody pics?
Edit: I have discovered that Woody graduated the same year as my uncle. Photos of high school woody coming soon
Edit: may be biomedical. He wants to study genetic manipulation to correct/ improve the human genome.
Not only did only a few people know who I was but I was freaking out the entire time, I felt like I wasnβt worth a celebration, so I felt trashy about my existence and I started wondering if people hated me.
Anytime something is dedicated to me I get really dark because I assume people feel like theyβre wasting their time. I hate It.
I'm a senior in high school and I don't want to go to graduation. This is a very unpopular opinion for obvious reasons but I don't care. For the last 3 years, high school hasn't really been a fun place for me to go. It's a job just been a 9 to 5 job. I just want to get it over with and I don't want to attend anything school-related event that is not a requirement. One thing everybody says when I say I don't want to go to graduation is, "But what about your parent?" Well, my parents are the ones who made my high school experience more miserable than it should've been. Part of the reason why I've enlisted in the Air Force is to get out of their house IMMEDIATELY after high school ends. We're getting to that point of the year where this stuff is getting set up. I haven't taken my senior photo, I'm not paying for a yearbook, and I haven't paid for a cap and gown. I just want to fulfill all of my graduation requirements, get my diploma, and move on with my life and never look back.
I started dating my partner in high school and stayed with them for 5 years, only for them to have fear of missing out and wanting to experience dating other people and breaking my heart.
Now here I am, out of college, having pretty much isolated myself over the past 5 years since I was completely content with my relationship. I can't do anything by myself, don't know how to be alone, and don't know how to meet people.
I wish I didn't stay in my relationship for as long as I did. I missed out on so much because of it. Now I'm stuck and don't know what to do.
i know that the title shows that i may be the asshole but lemme give the context. so this is my dads mom, when my dad was six or seven his dad left him. so my grandmother had to raise my aunt and dad all by herself which is a hard ting to do. but instead of treating her kids like equal she would go take my aunt shopping and stuff like that and leave my dad with his uncle or grandparents so they ended up basically raising him. my grandmother always hated my mom just because she didnβt share the same interests as her and my aunt. my aunt would end up having 3 kids, 2 boys ,and 1 girl. my girl cousin was always treated like a princess my grandmother would go to all of her school events and dance recitals and would give her new phones, 4 cars, and would pay for her dorms and apartment in college. she would never come to any of my school events and every christmas and birthday she would give me and my brother $25 gift cards. which i am grateful for but watching my cousins get new cars and trips to italy for christmas hurt. now i am a senior in high school and i donβt want to invite her to my graduation since sheβs never at any of my stuff nor cares about me really and my mom and dad said itβs up to me. and i understand that she is my grandmother and that it would be rude if i didnβt invite her but she still never shows to care for me so am i the asshole if i donβt invite her?
side note at any dinner or lunch starting when i was 10 she would also say stuff like βare you rlly gonna eat that much?β or βthatβs a lot to eat. which those comments would eventually cause me to develop a eating disorder that i still deal with today
