And I am very confused. Is that how he originally wrote it? Or did the publisher just add some context.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good films or documentaries about Orthodox Christianity in Ethiopia, Armenia, Syria, or Egypt. I am working on a research project related to the world of Eastern Christianity, but there are very few resources in the English language which center the Christian tradition in these countries. I am specifically looking for films which include themes of cultural trauma (for example, one of the films I found for Armenia is Anjar: Flowers, Goats and Heroes, which combines memories from the genocide, told by the surviving members of the village's older generation, with the filmmaker's own memories of her childhood during the Lebanese Civil War).
