A list of puns related to "Foreign Exchange Spot"
Iβll be getting a high school student from Hong Kong for the school year. Granted during these uncertain times things may not be accessible. But I was hoping my fellow Michiganders could help me with either little known great spots to visit or attractions, or just things they love. Iβve started coming up with ideas already, but would love some more. Thank you!
To give the question a bit of context: all my friends (I'm Italian) who went on erasmus commented their experience at foreign university as "being easier" especially when talking about exams. I've personally witnessed a German exam and it felt somewhat easier than the counterpart here in Italy.
I'm wondering if some kind of bias is involved or just Italy being Italy regarding education.
Disclaimer: I do not believe harder exams to be proof of a better education, on the contrary I find impossibly hard exams barriers towards a good education.
Hi! I'm applying for a local Uni in Europe and i saw that the major I'm considering offers an exchange program to UNSW, among others. After doing some loose research back in August, it looked like UNSW would be the best option for me. After reading about the school and watching some videos, it seems like a really decent place, and then it hit me i could probably try looking it up on Reddit, and obviously that brought me here.
So naturally i tried sorting posts by "top of all time" and read through some of it and... oh boy. I scrolled for half an hour and i don't think i saw a SINGLE positive post about UNSW. From articles about it being the uni with the least satisfying students in the country to rants about the school giving them depression, it SEEMS like you guys really hate this place. Is this just tough love, or is it really as bad as you're making it out to be?
Obviously no school is perfect, but really now, look through the top posts on this sub and imagine that's the first you're hearing of USNW
I'm a 16 year old girl from Sweden/Finland!Next year I'll be going to America as a foreign exchange student!I'm planning on going to one of these states:
California, Arizona, Florida, North Carolina or Georgia.
I've also looked into Texas, though I'm not sure since I've heard scary things about Texas.
(And if you'd like to you can specify why, and why not I should go to any state.)
So I've got a couple of questions:
>Tips on what to do and not when going abroad.
>Are there Healthier options for food?
>How much does Allstar Cheerleading cost in the US?
>Is it hard to make the Varsity Cheerleading Team in HS?
I am from Romania. Never wrestled before.
Any suggestions? Looking for a credit card with no annual fee and no foreign exchange fees when I use the card for purchases in a foreign country.

Paris has long had a special resonance for Americans. Thomas Jefferson loved it. Writers like Hemingway, Fitzgerald, and Miller developed their talent in Paris. African Americans, starting in World War I, could finally get a taste of real freedom and respect. (Black novelist Richard Wright said, "frankly that there is more freedom in one square block of Paris than there is in the entire United States of America!") There are American movies, and even a horrible Netflix show, about Paris. Oscar Wilde said that when good Americans die, they go to Paris; the bad ones stay in America.
(One data point: I am always excited in Paris. I don't know why. I know I am a tourist. I order croissants by pointing. It's the day to day life of a living city, the bicycles, the people rushing, the machines that clean the streets. It is that same energy that makes New York, an ugly city, ultimately a beautiful one.)
Question: Is there any foreign city/place that French people have a special fascination with? Thank you.
Hi everyone! So I just wasted a few hours of my life trying to exchange some money left over from a trip to Europe. I went to 3 exchange houses and they all said that they only deal with super basic internationally relevant currencies like CAD, MXN, GBP, EUR, CNY, etc.
The lady at the last one I tried gave me the idea of calling a few other offices, which I did, but they all said something along the same lines.
My bank won't let me deposit money in a foreign currency - which is very weird to me, because most banks where I'm from will let you. Perhaps other banks would? If you know of any, let me know - I might start an account with them just because I travel so much that this could be a common problem.
But more to the point, I'm just trying to get this money exchanged and I don't know where to do it! Does anyone have any advice?
(I'm in K-town, for what it's worth.)
Thank you!
My name is Silas and I am a foreign exchange student in North Dakota! This is my attempt at capturing my experience of my trip through the state! I just thought itβd be interesting to share with a few more North Dakotans! :) My video Also: Do you have any recommendations on what I definitely need to do before I leave ND?

##the Hague court demands Azerbaijan to prevent the spread of racial hatred against Armenians
The International Court of Justice has published the decision over Armeniaβs application on taking interim measures against Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan must prevent the spread of racial hatred against Armenians.
Azerbaijan must ensure the security of those taken captive during or after the war and guarantee their equality before the law [but doesn't have to return them as part of this verdict.]
Azerbaijan should take measures to prevent the spread of racial hatred against people of Armenian descent, including by officials and state bodies.
Azerbaijan should take all necessary measures to prevent and punish all cases of vandalism and acts of desecration of Armenian cultural heritage.
The Court has essentially ruled that Armenophobia is at the state level in Azerbaijan. The court did not require Azerbaijan to close the Saddam Park in Baku.
As for Azerbaijan's counter-claim against Armenia, only a small part was satisfied. Armenia will take measures to prevent individuals and organizations from spreading anti-Azeri ethnic hatred. [so it doesn't find that the racism is at the state level in Armenia?]
The court did not require Armenia to share landmine maps.
Both parties are asked to "calm down".
Armenia's lawyer Yeghishe Kirakosyan welcomed the verdict and hopes it will be implemented ASAP.

##Foreign Ministry provides details about Sochi meeting and prior negotiations about unblocking regional communication:
[Nothing new if you've been reading the daily news.]
None of the statements made on Nov 9, Jan 11, and Sochi (Nov 26) include any agreements or promises about a "corridor".
Nov 9 says both parties are willing to open the routes. Armenia guarantees the safety of transport communication between Azerbaijan and the Nakhijevan Autonomous Republic.
Jan 11 meeting led to the formation of a working group tasked with unblocking routes.
Jan 11 states that deputy premiers will explore the main directions of unblocking efforts, by forming a working group consisting of various experts.
Jan 11 says the working group will draft a document for leaders to sign. It will be about conducting international transfe
Hello all,
I am an American student (M) studying in Spain for the next three months, and though I am still getting settled, I was hoping to see if there were any climbing groups (or just climbers) that actively did outdoor routes (or indoor as the weather is relatively cold). I would love to get some sport climbing or top rope in.
I have been climbing for a couple years sporadically, and would climb in what I think is the 4c to 5c range (5.7-5.9, with some 5.10 for USA). I have shoes, harness, and an ATC, but nothing else.
If climbing outside, I can't help with much of the supplies, but I can help move the gear and contribute in other ways. I am can do limited anchor building (mostly with static ropes and bo-line knots) and can lead belay. I have climbed hard routes outdoors, but they are few and far between.
If indoors, then I should have no problem at all belaying and climbing.
If anyone is interested, please DM me and maybe we can work something out, even if for a day.
Thanks!
Does anyone know where I can get a few hundred $NZ exchanged to $US? Google has failed me, bombarding me with ads and unrelated stuff.
I did a foreign exchange through BMO Investorline as time is of the essence with this tasty dip. It took my CAD money out, but my newly purchased USD cash isn't showing. Any experience with how long I'll have to wait for it to show up?
Jerry's fly was open for a small set on live TV.
Possibly one of those Afterschool Special type things. I remember one scene where the tanning salon they're attending closes down or something so they try to rig something up at home with a shitload of lightbulbs.
I am with an brokerage that lets me buy the ADR or GDR of a security, as well as buying on the local markets.
My portfolio is already a bit annoying with dividends in multiple currencies, however I am looking at getting a stock in a new country and a new currency.
i don't mid currency conversions on interactive brokers, it does not seem to have much/any fees, if any, whereas the ADRs always have fees.
Is there an advantage to buying BAE on the LSE or as a US ADR? I am in Japan.
Thanks!
