A list of puns related to "Florence Name"
To the most glorious Florence Basilakes, First of her Name, Heir Presumptive of the Kingdom of Sordland and the Greater Markian Empire, esteemed Foreign Minister of the Second Republic of Sordland and honourable member of the Assembly.
My name is Alexander van Rezburg. I was born in Erlory of the 9th of May, 1912 by Isabel van Rezburg, heiress to the honourable van Rezburg family. As I am sure that you are aware, the van Rezburg family were one of the most regarded and richest families in Sordland, second only to the magnificence of your Basilakes family. I am writing you this letter, in order to ask you to help me to address a great wrong that has been done to the van Rezburg family.
When I left my Sordland on the onset of the terrible civil war that wracked our beautiful nation, the van Rezburg family owned almost a dozen properties, from its main estate in Erlory, to other properties in Deyr, Lachaven, Holsord, Benfi and many others. Its properties consisted of tens of thousands of acres, in addition to many heirlooms and traditional family valuables.
Upon returning from exile as part of Ewald Alphonso's amnesty policies, I found to my great horror that the lands and properties of my family were destroyed radical bludish communists, stolen by commoner capitalist thieves or nationalised under Soll's regime. On my return, the only thing remaining was the mansion of our main estate, with the surrounding lands being bought up by Arcasian billionaires from the government under Alphonso's privatisation policies, or developed by the government in various public projects.
As the Foreign Minister of Sordland, and the last remaining vestige of the greatness of the Kingdom of Sordland, no, of the Markian Empire, I beg you to help me recover the ancestral property of my family, the house of the van Rezburgs, so we can restore Sordland to its former monarchical glory!
I eagerly await your reply,
Alexander van Rezburg
Last Heir of the van Rezburg.

I am 25 years old, I love mysteries and everything about them, I love the heat and I would love to meet people from Florida, California, Montana, San Diego, Miami and wherever there are people to meet! I love unknown places, not exactly touristic ones, if you write me saying "I live in the middle of nowhere" for me it's fantastic as a thing, I love to explore any type of place and I love the American "mood" that seems to shine through on social networks, my English it's not great I know, but I'm still an Italian who speaks a macaronic English lol
I love the name Florence, but dislike the nickname Flo, which my partner has assured me he would call any future daughter with that name. I'm looking for names that have a similar feel, but with potentially better nicknames. Some other names I like are:
Helena
Fiona
Adrienne
Rosalie
Eloise
Theodora
Thank you!!
So they've got us naming the drones now... https://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/tower-of-london-reopening-raven-name-florence-nightingale-b933144.html
A couple years ago I had dinner with a family in Florence and they cooked me a savory pie. They said it was a traditional Italian dish. It was very cheesy and creamy, it definitely had mushrooms in it and probably meat but not positive. Iβm sure it had other stuff I just donβt remember. The pie was fairly tall and stood up on its own, not in a tin. Outside pastry was crunchy and flaky. It is one of the best things I have ever had and Iβd like to try to remake it. Iβm pretty sure it started with the letter T. Thank you!
Iβm not having a baby any time soon, but if I ever have a girl Iβd love to name her Florence! Whenever I hear that name I think of Florence Nightingale, and I just think the name has a lot of dignity and pride to it. The problem is, I canβt think of a good nickname besides βFlo,β and all those ads for progressive insurance have kind of ruined that name for me. Are there any cute nicknames that would be better? Also, what kind of middle name would suit the name?
I know itβs a traditionally female name but I canβt help thinking of a kind fancy gentleman when I picture the name in my head. That being said I love Flora as a girl name (Iβm not planning to name any kids this)
"Florence" comes from the latin verb Florens, Florentis, meaning "to blossom".
LΓΊthien comes from lΓΊth, blossom, and -ien, daughter.
TinΓΊviel has its own etymology but also is literally the word for nightingale.
Just thought it was a fun coincidence.
