A list of puns related to "Federalise"
Europe has lots of different governments forms, constitutional monarchy is one of them. Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Spain are the specific countries within the European union to have royals as their head of state. Question is, what do you do with them once Europe federalises?
I'm just wondering
I'm not a senator or anything but what should we call ourselves when we finally reform our civics and become a proper star nation?
I quite like the Antaris Social Union Or the Antaris Social Concordiate.
Surely some of you have an idea?
Quoting doctor strange βhow do we get from here to there?β
What do you guess will be the timeline?
How do you think it will proceed?
What will happen to the monarchies?
Will there be territorial rearrangement along ethnic lines like Germany and Austria being merged or will bigger countries like Germany and France be cut into smaller ones?
What about Norwegian, Swiss, Albanian, Bosnian, Serbian memberships?
Meaning branch of government. Would you like to see an agency go completely EU-wide, for example the environmental agencies or other oversight agency, or the police force, the armies, the parliament become the de facto highest lawmaker authority national governments have to follow, etc.
I'd feel with the seeming stagnation of EU critics in power, it could be a good time to grab the opportunity and turn the attention towards the growing crisis of climate change and asylum seekers. The EU could announce two things: Because of the immediate nature of these crisis, two EU task forces have been launched to tackle them both in terms of action guidance and monetary&supply support, but also by recommending national governments how to unify their laws in those areas to facilitate a better and deeper interaction between the different agencies.
I'm not convinced we'll ever get anywhere seeking a second referendum. Neither the tories nor labour need Scotland, and neither will want to be the ones to "lose" Scotland.
I wonder if the only way to end this union is for a federal party across the UK, consisting of SNP, Plaid Cymru, whoever is most suitable in Northern Ireland, and some new party in England.
Edit: I mean a federalist party of parties, to deliver independence for all of the nations. Not to deliver some crappy federalism for the UK that would never work.
The EU is way too complicated for the average citizen, what we should do in my opinion is adopt the Canadian federal system, (with a few changes such as single transferable vote and multi-member seats) so weβd have a Bicameral Parliament and a clear Prime Minister, Government and Opposition, I also think we should have a directly elected ceremonial President.
Clearly what needs to happen is the Commissiom needs to draw up a βConstitution of the EUβ to be put to a referendum accross the union with the understanding that if it is approved by a majority of the citizens, in a majority of states then it comes into effect.
We also should start calling the countries βStatesβ in the Australian/American sense
Edit: I think itβs also crucial that MEPs are given the legislativs initative

So, if federalisation will ever happen in the future, will there be a referendum, to decide ''Do we unite or do we get out?'' in our nations?
Would you approve of such a referendum? (not what's you'd answer in it, but if you would be ok with it being organised in the first place)

If Europe becomes one country, we won't be able to make fun of Americans anymore for saying they "went on vacation in Europe"
Is there any reason other than gameplay that A-H is still sporting the Status Quo in 1936? I mean why would this particular election have so much to with the outcome of the country, and not any other election for the past 17 years?
Military, economic, political-wise
I rushed the "Propose Union" focus hoping I could prevent a syndicalist revolution in Bolivia. They accepted but it just formed a faction called Peru-Bolivia Confederation.
It's 1939 now and still no federation. Does my nat-pop goverment have any influence in this?
The moves which 20 years ago began to allow Britain, Ireland, the Nordic and Baltic countries, towards more autonomy from the rest of the EU was a good one.
In the end, the war of Russian aggression cannot be seen as the fault of the EU; and our failure to form up peace together shows that our mutual bond was ravaged as our nations were.
Britain asks for discussions regarding a joint policy in the areas of economics, defence, and global interests, that include all in what was originally the EU Northern Bloc.
We still have a bright future together, and Britain earnestly desires ends in keeping with those of the Nordic and Baltic group.
As you my know this week we had two quite important events in the EU. The first was Orban's Hungary creating a new law to attack LGBTQI+ people and most of the EU being against it and also in Poland PiS has become a minority government and its polla once again are getting worse anf worse.
Some time ago, I remember, when there was last big EU meeting Hungary once gain blocked many ideas to build closer union. I heard, that punishing Hungary and making Union stronger would be possible, if not for Poland protecting Hungary.
That's why I am curious, even if there is still a lot od time until next elections in Poland, there is big chance that their government will change and what's more unlike Hungary they have a proportional electoral system. So if it indeed happens and polish will have a democratic, pro-EU government:
what can be done with all EU states, except Hungary being angry at Hungaru for what they are doing and they want to push for some change/punish Hungary?
I heard that Slovenian government also is very supportive for Orban, I also heard something about Bulgaria, but I am not sure. Is there any other EU government, which will take place of part in protecting Orban in this case?
