Worst professor I have ever had in the history of my 5 year, 3 school career. I have never failed a class in my life before.
She has a syllabus that consists of 7 sentences, no course schedule is present so if you miss a class, well, good luck.
The class grade is based entirely off of 9 unannounced pop quizzed. In 1 month we had taken 6. Also she doesn’t take absences NO MATTER WHAT (death/covid included), so if you miss an unannounced pop quiz, well the best you can get is a B+. 1 more and its a C+, miss 3? You fail. No arguing. Imagine having this policy during a global pandemic. Joke.
Oh, she also doesn’t read or respond to any emails (one of the syllabus sentences), so dont even try to talk to her about anything.
No online resources. No office hours. No resources recommended anywhere else in the school.
She lied to me when i asked her if the TA had office hours, said no straight to my face with a rude attaitude. 4 weeks later the TA emails the entire class saying he is worried about the class because nobody has shown up to his office hours. Professor didnt inform the class and didnt put it on her syllabus.
Her teaching methods are horrible, we go over one problem a day because she popcorn picks random students who respond “i dont know” until one fumbles their way through a guess. Handwriting can be equated to Egyptian hieroglyphics, it is illegible half the time.
There are a few instances i can even remember where she insulted a students’ appearance. One student with purple hair was called on and she didnt know his name, so Marie decided to say”you, behind whatever all that is” and pointed to her hair.
I’ve put in a few formal complaints because of her lies and how she talks to students but nobody has even responded lmfao. Absolute joke that this institution hires someone who so clearly does not give a damn about her students.

Von Franz: If you are an introverted feeling type, you can also think introvertedly. You can naturally have all the functions all ways, but it won’t be such a great problem, and there will not be much intensity of life in it. Jung has said that the hardest thing to understand is not your opposite type—if you have an introverted feeling it is very difficult to understand an extroverted thinking type—but the same functional type with the other attitude! It would be most difficult for an introverted feeling type to understand an extroverted feeling type. There one feels that one does not know how the wheels go round in that person’s head; one cannot feel one’s way into it. Such people remain to a great extent a puzzle and are very difficult to understand spontaneously. Here the theory of types is tremendously important practically, for it is the only thing that can prevent one from completely misunderstanding certain people. It gives a clue to the understanding of a person whose spontaneous reactions are a complete puzzle, whom you would, if you reacted spontaneously, misunderstand completely.
