I know elita 1 is a relatively minor character but can we please talk about her voice for a moment in her first appearance her voice sounded mature it was matronly and commanding she really sounded like the female counterpart to Optimus Prime which I think was perfect for her as his love interest and leader of the female Autobots So it's kind of sad in the few times she's appeared since then they haven't really tried to replicate that voice I just feel in her later depictions she's kind of missing something I feel like she sounds too young Like as Optimus Prime's girlfriend she's basically the matriarch of the Autobots an older and wiser counterpart to characters like Arcee but her voice rarely if ever carries the same weight I feel it should for someone in her position it's usually just a generic female voice With nothing really special or iconic about it Like I get she's not a big name character like Optimus Prime Starscream or even Arcee But it's just kind of frustrating since they nailed it the first time and just haven't tried since then Eh I know probably no one else cares but she's one of my favourite characters so I have strong feelings about it I guess
(No hate to any of her voice actresses they all do a great job just Different vibes from what I want for the character )
So I have to get this out, we all know at the end of earth rise we saw Elita-1 Jetfire, and the rest caught up in a massive explosion, as well as shockwave and a few others, I remembered thinking that was kind of a poor way to kill off there characters, fast forward to kingdom, Optimus arrives back on Cybertron, to find Elita-1, Dead. To be honest I didn’t like the way they were killed off, it felt unfulfilling, how about you guys?
