Elise Name Puns

We’re expecting a baby girl soon and still haven’t decided on a first name yet. I’m leaning towards Luna since her mom’s name starts with an L, but she said it sounds a bit off and rhymes with “lunar eclipse”.

Some names that we are currently considering are Athena, Freya, and Amara but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Please tell which one you like most and why :) first name starts with an L and last name starts with an O

I live in Scandinavia, but still would like to name my future daughter with a name that is pronounced easily in different countries. I was wondering what do you guys think about it? :) thanks!

On today’s episode, we have the Battle of the Elises!

First off, the cleric from the Archanea games, Elice! Elice is the older sister of Marth who is abducted at the beginning of the War of Shadows; she is eventually rescued. Notably, she is able to wield the Aum Staff. During the War of Heroes she is abducted again but rescued by her lover, Merric.

Secondly is the troubadour from Fire Emblem Fates, Elise! Elise is a Nohrian noble who is a younger sister of Corrin. She is close to Corrin and is very outgoing.

Baby girl is OVER due and we still have no middle name! Any ideas!? Last name is 2 syllable beginning with K

I was looking at some good names for Elise mains and I found a thread asking for good Elise names but all the names that I found didn't really suit me. Have any ideas for Elise names?

I am pregnant with our first little girl. My husband and I are in love with the idea of have her initials be SEA, and are fairly set on middle name Elise. We were band nerds together in high school, and love the subtle ties that Elise has to music. Common last name starts with A, three syllables.

Mephistopheles: mafist off lease. May fist off Elise. Mephisto fleece.

Elise levels up into Spider Queen Elise. I feel like that's something plenty of (if not all) Champions would benefit from.

Ashe and Sejuani could level up into Warmother Ashe and Warmother Sejuani.

Miss Fortune and Gangplank could level up into Captain Fortune and Captain Ganplank.

Purifier Lucian, Grand General Swain, and I'm sure the community could come up with plenty of others.

What does everyone else think? Should other Champions get a new name upon leveling? Should all of them? Or should it remain something unique to Elise?

Hello, fellow nerds! What are some boy names that would fit with siblings Hazel, Ivy, and Elise?

We like a somewhat harsh or strong sounding boy's name, think Brock or Magnus, but we don't want to use those names. It can be traditional, vintage, nature, modern anything really we are open to all types and are geared more to the sound of the name.

Other names we like but cannot use: Ryker, Asher, Magnus, Brock, Cyrus.

As the title states, my husband and I are hooked on the idea of a middle name that's similar to Elise. Here are our top contenders so far:

1. Margaret Elise
2. Margaret Annalise
3. Margaret Louise
4. Margaret Eloise

Any other ideas or favorites? Or really, any middle name ideas for Margaret?

I made a recent post on here where I mentioned I had the intention of using "anise" as the middle name (thinking it was pronounced "uh-niece") but thanks to your help, I realized it is generally pronounced very similarly to "anus." I am 40 weeks today, so basically: CLOSE CALL. You saved my child from hating me for life! PHEW.

EDIT: If it matters, her legal name will be Margaret, but everyone will know her as Maggie!

Hello! I have always loved names and am so happy I found this sub a while back.

Our first child's name is Ava Elise (yes, I know, Ava is wildly popular right now. We couldn't find a name we loved more).

I love her name so much.

We're expecting again, and having a hard time finding a name we absolutely love.

We aren't finding out the gender until birth!

For a boy, we like Henry (I know, another crazy popular name. I've loved this name since I was a kid!), but need help with a middle name. So far we have Henry Owen, Henry Elliott, and Henry Noah. Open to suggestions!

For a girl, it's a crapshoot.

I really like Emmeline or Evangeline for a girl middle name. I'm not really crazy about any of the names my husband likes, but I like them enough. Of course the one I like the most is..... Emma! Hahaha.

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for the suggestions and encouragement! I have a lot more confidence choosing names my husband and I love, even if they are common or popular. Like some of you mentioned, they're popular for a reason; they're good names!

So, for a boy, we love Henry Owen, and for a girl, the two names we love are Emma and Molly. Now to find middle names we like! We might wait to see which name fits the baby when they're born if it's a girl!

I am having trouble finding middle names that go with the first name Elise. The only one I have found that I like is Elise Marie, but I think I'd be interested in seeing if a more gender neutral name might work well with it and a single syllable last name. Any help would be appreciated.

I always feel totally useless on this champ. Maybe it's because I tend to play more farming junglers, but for the life of me I can't figure out what to do with her. I can usually do alright with early game ganking junglers, but I feel like I do no damage with her until 2 or 3 items, but by then it's too late. If anyone could point me to guides or replays or streamers to help me, it would be incredibly appriciated

My wife's favorite is Alana Grace.

Baby girl due in August. Tentative name is Natalie Noelle, but Husband and I aren't 100% on it. We're considering Elise as a first name, but can't come up with any middle names that we love with it. In the Hearthstone deck building thingy, and there are no legendary dupes in a single deck. Therefore, legendaries are marked with a star.

Ergo, she is called Elise Starseeker because she and the player seek legendary cards in their deck.

I’ve personally loved the name Winter for a kid and I like Elise for Beethoven’s ‘Für Elise’ because I love that piece and the story behjnd it. Also it’s a different spelling of MY middle name so I’ve just really liked it. I couldn’t care less what people think of me but I don’t want my kid getting picked on or something. (And yes, I’m totally gonna be that hippy mom who’s gonna name their kids unique names alright?)

Hey, so I'm tryin to pick a name or whatever. I was going with Elizabeth for a while there, but it's kind of a mouthful and also I don't really feel like it applies to me? So I'm thinking maybe Elise now because it's just as antiquated as Elizabeth and my deadname, plus I have the same legal name as one of the beat poets, so it might be cool to take the name of another one (Elise Nada Cowen)
But I already wrote a letter to my future self under the name Elizabeth so maybe I shouldn't do anything
