So, I noticed that in my home country Croatia, mostly all the stations that are build in the era of Austria-Hungary Empire has this little circle-shaped window beneath the roof of the station building. When I see this wndow, I immediately know that this building serves (or has previously served) for railway purpose, because none of other buildings would appear to have that. Is my assumption right that it was some sort of Austria-Hungary thing? I also saw it on the most railway stations all around Ex-Yugoslavia and Hungary. Typically, the largest hubs would normally not include that, only smaller and middle-large stations. I also noticed that railway stations in present day Croatia that were build during Yugoslavia period (1944-1991) don't include that window. I attached photo of the small building which served as the railway station in my town in North Croatia. Present station building that was built later, however, doesn't include it. But almost all other older mid-sized or smaller stations do.

The former Hagerstown and Frederick Railway station in Boonsboro. The station, built in 1902, marked the end of the Boonsboro Branch from Beaver Creek just east of Hagerstown. It was closed in 1938 and the tracks were removed shortly after.
