"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $50,000 loan to take a vacation."
Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name.
"KermitΒ Jagger. My father is Mick Jagger. It will be fine to authorize the loan, I know your manager."
Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral.
"Sure, how about this," said Kermit as he produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed. Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.
Patty walks into the manager's office and proceeds to tell her, "There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $50,000, and he wants to use this as collateral." Patty holds up the tiny pink elephant. "I mean, what in the world is this?"
The bank manager looks back at her and says..."It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."
A-loan
Edit: whose
I told debt to leave me a-loan.
You are not a loan.
I heard that the underwater financial department is tanking. They started using the loan sharks.
He found himself a loan.
All he has for collateral is a ceramic statue. The loan officer, Patty Black, is unsure of what to do so she consults with her supervisor; "Oh fine", he says. "It's a knick knack Patty Black, give the frog a loan."
I wrote a little skit for my grandkids let's see how much I remember. CHUM 8 news Ted Hammerhead reporting with sky Chompter traffic report. Top story, a lone shark, who is a loan shark is alone in the dark making loans to sharks! There is a new place to gamble, the place is full of sharks who turn out to be card sharks playing card games with sharks on the cards. Imagune the dogs playing poker for this story, but it's sharks. The other reporter asks Ted Hammerhead how he did on his recent drivers test, Ted responds "nailed it". Crime scene where a clown has been killed and the Detective states, " No way a shark did this as they taste funny". On a comment about the victim. I never did the weather or figured out names for the other reporters we used to laugh and laugh at my stupid puns.

Years later and the loan is worth $23,000
She said she'd trade it for more dad jokes any day<3
When he got there, a woman extended her hand.
"Good afternoon, sir," she said. "My name is Patricia Wack. How may I help you today?"
Kermit replied, "Hi-ho, Patricia! I'm Kermit the Frog, and I would like to borrow some money."
They walked over to her desk and sat down.
"Certainly, Mr. Frog--"
"Oh, just call me Kermit."
"Okay... Kermit. How much money would you like to borrow?"
"Ten thousand dollars."
Mildly surprised, Ms. Wack looked intently at Kermit.
"Do you have any references?"
"Well, I suppose I could use my father, Keith Richards."
Ms. Wack froze for a second, then...
"THE Keith Richards?"
"Oh, yes. In fact, he told me he's friends with your manager, which is why I came in here."
"Okay... Do you have any collateral?"
"Excuse me?"
"Collateral. Something of value, like a car, or a boat..."
"Oh, yes! I do have something. I have this."
Kermit reached into his briefcase and placed a small figurine on the desk. Patricia looked curiously at the object, then at our amphibious friend.
"What's this?"
"It's a Hummel."
"A what?"
"A Hummel. They're supposed to be quite valuable. Well, at least this one is to me."
She picked up the Hummel and stood up.
"If you don't mind, I would like to show this to the manager."
"Oh, no! I don't mind at all!"
So, Patricia took the Hummel to the manager's office, knocked on the door, and walked inside.
"Patricia! What can I do for you?"
"Mr. Wilson, there's this... frog named Kermit at my desk, and he wants to borrow $10,000, but he has only this for collateral."
Mr. Wilson looked at the Hummel, then out to her desk.
"I don't see anything out of order here."
"But, Mr. Wilson--"
"Look, it's a knick-knack, Patty Wack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."
Because they want to be a loan
He's a lone-wolf loan-shark.
Because it wasn't a loan any more.
...I feel very loanly
I'm going to dye a loan.
The poor man dyed a loan.
So a frog walks into a bank, and up to one of the tellers, a young woman by the name of Patricia Wakk. He says to her, he says, βMiss Wakk, my name is Kermit Jagger, son of Mick Jagger, and Iβd like to take out a loan. I make porcelain elephants,β he says, pulling one out from his pocket, βand Iβd like to open a store down on Main Street selling them. I just need a few thousand dollars to buy the shop. Can you help me out?β
Now, Patricia doesnβt normally deal in small business loans, so sheβs unsure on the proper protocol involved, so she calls over her manager and explains the situation to him, explaining Kermitβs family ties and showing him the elephant, to which her manager replies,
βItβs a knick-nack, Patty Wakk, give the frog a loan! His old manβs a rolling stone.β
Police thought the attacks were linked but later found that they were a bunch of loan wolves.
Him suddenly: Hey man, Iβm kinda short on money Me: Huh? Him: So could you leave me a loan?
Indiana Loans. #10 year-old joke
One of the classic Β Abbott and Costello Β routines, where Bud Abbott takes advantage of a common math mistake that we all make to fleece his pal, Lou Costello, out of all of his money. Β The skit ends with a simple βread my mindβ routine that takes Louβs last remaining bill. Β This routine was done Β many Β times, both in the movies and their radio show.
Bud Abbott: Do me a favor, loan me $50.
Lou Costello: Bud, I canβt. I canβt loan you $50.
Bud Abbott: Oh, yes, ya can.
Lou Costello: No, I canβt. All I got is $40.
Bud Abbott: All right, give me the $40 and youβll owe me 10 Β
Lou Costello: Ok, Iβll owe you 10.
Bud Abbott: Thatβs right.
Lou Costello: How come I owe you 10?
Bud Abbott: How much did I ask for?
Lou Costello: 50
Bud Abbott: How much did you give me?
Lou Costello: 40.
Bud Abbott: So you owe me $10.
Lou Costello: Thatβs right. Β [Pause] But you owe me 40.
Bud Abbott: Donβt change the subject.
Lou Costello: Iβm not changing the subject; youβre trying to change my finances. Come on, Abbott give me my $40.
Bud Abbott: All right, thereβs your $40, now give me the 10 you owe me.
Lou Costello: Iβm paying you on account.
Bud Abbott: On account?
Lou Costello: On account I donβt know how I owe it to ya.
Bud Abbott: Thatβs the way you feel about it, thatβs the last time I ask you for a loan of $50.
Lou Costello: But how can I loan ya $50, now. All I got is 30.
Bud Abbott: Well, give me the 30 and youβll owe me 20.
Lou Costello: Ok. This is getting worse all the time. (Look at audience) First I owe him 10, now I owe him 20.
Bud Abbott: Well, why do you run yourself into debt?
Lou Costello: Iβm not running in, youβre pushing me!1
Bud Abbott: I canβt help it if you canβt handle your finances. I do all right with my money.
Lou Costello: And you do all right with my money too.
Bud Abbott: Now I asked you for a loan of $50. You gave me 30, so you owe me 20. 20 and 30 is 50.
Lou Costello: No. No. No. 25 and 25 is 50.
Bud Abbott: All right, hereβs your $30, now give me the 20 you owe me. Fine guy, wonβt loan a pal $50.
Because itβs always a loan
It's a knick knack, patty whack. Give a frog a loan?
He approaches the teller, Ms. Ursula Paddywhack. He says he needs a loan.
"What for?" asks the teller.
"I want to build a house," the frog replies. "Nothing too fancy, but I want $20,000."
"Do you have any collateral?" asks the teller.
The frog takes out a small crystal horse. "Would this be enough?"
"No, that's not enough," the teller replies. "Do you have anything else?"
"My father is Keith Richards," says the frog.
The teller, unsure what to do, goes to the bank manager. She describes the entire situation and asks for advice. The manager says,
"It's a knick-knack, Paddywhack. Give the frog a loan! His old man's a Rolling Stone."
My wife and I are signing our loan docs today with the title company.
Wife: "I don't get why you sign your name so fast but write the date so slow."
Me: "I guess ever since we got married I don't date as often as I used to."
Title Lady: "Booooooo."
She later acknowledged that she hadn't heard that one in 21 years of doing her job. I've never been so proud and ashamed at the same time.
The frog pulls out a small weird shaped item, made of ceramic. Ms. Black isnβt sure what to make of it, so she asks her manager. He takes one look at the item, and says, βWhy thatβs a knick knack Patty Black, give that frog a loan!β
I said, "It's a financial institution licensed to receive deposits and make loans."
ProvoLoan. So you can store your βcheeseβ.
Hi, I'm the president of a high school club called future investors and I need a few puns to accompany an advertisement on facebook/instagram.
Here it is: "Invest your time into something meaningful.. like FUTURE INVESTORS! I promise that you won't be a-loan, as you'll form a lot of bonds (and hopefully have a high ROI) by joining! Don't be a laughing stock and come to our first meeting on 9/19"
Bank manager rejected my application for a business loan. I told him that their was a great future in it if he would just look, but I guess he just could not see it in the camouflage business.
