A list of puns related to "Dungeon Fighter Online"
Basically, I'm looking for a side scroller Beat 'em Up RPG with lots of classes and/or advancements, that can be played offline as a singleplayer experience. I love and would play the hell out of DFO, but in the end, the whole stamina thing made me lose interest in it, so I'm looking for a replacement. Thank you!
Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) is a Korean made 2D beat em up MMO which first launched in 2005, and is still wildly successful today (mainly in Asia). Its a sprite based game, and the character designs and music influences are clearly inspired by Guilty Gear. It also happens to be one of the highest grossing media franchises of all time, with $15 billion in lifetime revenue as of 2020, putting it on the same level as The Avengers, Pac-Man, Loony Tunes, The Simpsons, and Spongebob. Pretty crazy how something so niche sounding could end up being so successful.
This new fighting game by Arcsys and Eighting has the potential to be a pretty big deal for the wider FGC as a whole. Remember all that talk about the League of Legends fighter bringing in more people to the FGC? Well this IP is just as big in some Asian countries.
Oh, and theres also a pretty cool 3D action game in the works, which you should check out if you're a fan of spectacle fighters/character action games. Hopefully both games gets a Western release.
Hey guys this is the new dungeon fighter online 2 game, which I think is coming out this year or early next year! I am super hyped for this game because I was a MASSIVE fan of the first game, and I just wanted to see if other people are as excited for this game.

Features you want/don't want to see (MUST): I'm looking for a beat-em-up style game similar to DFO. It could be 2D, 2.5D or 3D, doesn't matter. I like the whole hub city/dungeon crawler aspect of it. I like that there are tons of classes with gear to hunt after!
Genre: Beat-em-up. ARPG is ok, but looking for more of an action combat game over you're standard isometric ARPG games.
Paid or Free: Don't care.
Single or Multiplayer: Preferably Multiplayer, but not to stuck on either one.
Playable Offline: Don't really care to much either way.
I know posting only Youtube videos on this subreddit is not allowed but I really can't find any english articles about this game.
So basically "Project BBQ" which most likely is a Dungeon Fighter Online 3D has just been announced.
It's made by Nexon and Neople (creators of Dungeon Figher Online).

Basically, a Beat 'em Up RPG with a bunch of classes and advancements, and lots of customization options. If it's singleplayer and has a modding community, even better. Thanks!
My ideal game would be pre Big Bang MS with the ability to freely change classes. Are there any MMOs like that?
(F2P only) - Thanks!
I have played a ton of Maplestory and really like it. I have heard of other 2D games like La Tale and Wonderking but dunno them much. I'm not sure what other stuff I'm forgetting of. I prefer anime stuff. I dont mind p2w. Thanks in advance everyone!
I'm trying to avoid 3d by the way.
So in the last few days I've been trying to find that game that has action combat, multiple classes, beat-em-up style game. That I can level up and get more powerful and has tons of replayability.
These 4 are my top 4. I have some likes and dislikes about them all, but what's most important to me is what their end game is like.
I'd love to hear if anyone has experience with the end game of any of these games. Are they P2W? If so, how? Are they active?
Which would you choose and why?
Top Grossing Games of All Time.
Was curious of a few things that I would love to get your guys' expertise about:
I can understand how this game is pay to, which helps a lot in helping this game make money, but we've seen in games like game of war / mobile strike on mobile, that there needs to be enough whales that stay interested long term for that type of money. the fact that this game continues to make $1B a year, means that the whales are continuing to spend loads of money, and im not sure why they are doing that? what's the end game progression that makes continual spending so enticing?
Any insight into this would be amazing, as I am really curious. Thanks for any insight into this!
The age of it is throwing me off. I haven't really gotten into it, but I like the old school beat em up style, stats, gear, tons of classes etc....that's awesome. But I think the pixel graphics just throw me off. Is Soul Worker worth it?
I'm not looking for: Diablo PoE Torchlight Souls /Bloodborn / Code Vein Warframe
