There's a really great bike path that hugs Lake Erie. It's super scenic and mostly protected, and the part that isn't protected has very little traffic so I feel pretty safe riding it on my bike. It also makes a lot of sense if you're coming from the West Side because the bulk of density on the West Side is near the coast.
With that said, coming from University Circle I have to cycle all the way to the coast before I start riding. This adds about 15 minutes of time vs. just taking the regular route for me (25 vs 40 mins).
I don't NEED to travel on a protected bike path, and to be honest for about half the year the weather doesn't even really permit commuting by bike. Still, it would be so nice to have something that was more direct from University Circle to downtown. I think it would also be helpful for students, many of whom don't have cars.
I'm visiting for my first browns game on a Sunday in October and then want to see the hall of fame on Monday. Am I able to take a train or subway there? If not any guidance would be great.

I live in an apartment building very close to CSU's campus (10 minutes walking distance from CSU). My spectrum internet is trash. I've been paying $75 for nothing. For the last few days, I was barley able to stream 480p on YouTube. A speed test shows that my internet speed is 0.8 MB per second...... yes it is that bad.

Is there anyone that commutes from downtown Cleveland to the Warrensville Heights area on the weekdays during rush hour? If so how is that commute? I am about to graduate college and move and am considering a place downtown but was curious at how the commute would be.
