Hey guys! So iv been trying to do some research into any potential interactions there might be between the two main things I take daily, cannabis and methadone, and the maoi I plan to take prior to attempting to break through. Iv tried a couple of times with no maoi an jus sanwhiched dmt in a bowl an only got a short intense visual an body trip, iv never exited consensus reality like I want to. Haven't even peered into this "waiting room" I hear so much about. Now, I don't know if this is me getting lost in the mysticism of DMT or if its legit but it feels real. I came out of my last trip/breakthrough attempt feeling like I was told no. I came out of it with this crazy strong conviction that I had to extract my own and show the love whatever all this stuff is deserves, and then I might be able to. Then ofcourse I made my carts too weak by what I thought was accident, then I stumble into this maoi + vaped dmt method. Now I'm not so sure it was an accident, maybe it was meant to go that way. Or maybe I'm just mitigating my screw ups decently and getting lost in the mysticism of it all, but my skeptic ass usually isn't this...sure of anything. The more reading iv been doing to prepare myself for this long and intense trip, the more iv become concerned that the methadone I take might be blocking the breakthrough. I can't seem to find a conclusive answer on if methadone is an SSRI, it's definitely not an antidepressant, but that doesn't mean it's not performing selective serotonin ruptake inhibition which from what I can gather, blocks a breakthrough. If it helps any, I can absolutely trip nuts on LSD which should also be blocked or severely diminished by an SSRI. I'm fairly knew to learning the pharmacology of tryptamines and lysergamides, and definitely want to go into this as prepared as possible.
I've done 100mg+ n,n-dmt with literally zero effects. At this point I just said fuck it I'll try 5meo now. And boy did I feel it. I felt like I was melting away. But it was relatively weak?
So I tried 20mg and vaporized all of it. All of it into my lungs. But... the effects were very mild. I just felt like I was spinning, melting away. But no visuals. No ego loss. No feeling of death and release. I could still grasp reality with relative ease.
At this point, I think I've given up on the dimethyltryptamine family. It was nice getting part of the 5meo experience, but crossing into the danger zone just to break through seems like a bad idea.
It's worth noting that I'm totally fine with mushrooms and lsd, which makes the tolerance weirder.
From my personal experience, this is the only effective treatment of CFS that Iβve encountered.

I experience quick relief from CFS symptoms within minutes of smoking DMT (as long as itβs not burnt while smoking, because burnt DMT is inflammatory).
Having lived with CFS for more than three years, itβs wonderful to have a more-or-less steady solution for getting my life back, even if I have to smoke the DMT everyday for it to heal my CFS.

I was reading an article (an opinion piece by a psychiatrist) a few weeks ago which stated that dimethyltryptamine is naturally produced by the brain without any sort of drugs. He argued that if an overproduction of DMT occurs in a person due to malfunction of a certain process in the pineal gland one might experience hallucinations, voices, delusions and a break from reality similar to people on high doses of psychedelic drugs. He stated that DMT indirectly affects sections of the brain which are responsible for dopamine production and modulation which is why antipsychotics help with these symptoms but don't tackle the root cause that is located in the aforementioned pineal gland.
I was trying to educate myself on what he said but most of the stuff that I came across is very complicated since it is filled with scientific jargon that goes over my head. I was wondering if any of you could tell me if what he is saying is correct and maybe expand on the subject a bit more if you have the time? Would really appreciate the help!
Has anyone here heard of Ξ±,Ξ±,Ξ²,Ξ²-βtetradeutero-N,N-dimethyltryptamine? Seems the deuterium in place of some of the hydrogens makes it monoamine oxidase resistant. I'm academically curious about how it would be synthesized.

As an individual who believes to have been abducted and experianced DMT; I'm curious with the connections. As every individual seems to have different experience, i often found the initial beginning of the "trip" to be similarly similar to abduction experiances. People often speak of talking to entities/aliens. Why are there so many odd connections? Is there a connection? Is this "drug" possibly the true "Key" to communitcation?
