A list of puns related to "Dark Netflix"
What actors play your favorite NPCs?
First post here, apologies in advance if i didn't format this correctly but once i had this thought i couldn't put it to rest.
The Castlevania Trio is relatively well known for their supreme team work as well as individual prowess, but how do they stack up against various Fallen Knights and Oppressive Tyrants that dot Lothric's Landscape?
Castlevania Trio gains EOS gear and feats, DS3 Bosses stats equivalent to their NG+7 numbers (if that makes a difference not sure). All fight locations are in the bosses respective arenas, save for round 4 which takes place in Slave Knight Gael's Arena.
Round 1: Trevor Belmont vs Champion Gundyr
Round 2: Sypha Belnades vs Pontiff Sulyvahn
Round 3: Alucard vs The Soul of Cinder
Round 4: All aforementioned Combantants in a 3v3 Brawl
Bonus Round: Father Ariandel and Friede vs Carmilla of Styria
Bonus Round 2: Death vs High Lord Wolnir
Well folks, who takes it?
On my second watch through currently and picking up so much details that I have missed initially. Watching it a second time also allows my to have a new perspective on the story (as of all good time travel movies/series).
Although itβs in seasons, the science behind the story feels consistent and well knitted.
And last but not least - the cast was amazing. How the producers are able to find lookalike actors to portray the same characters across time is bewildering.
Highly recommended for those who have never watched it.
So I just got a LG C1 and I calibrated everything according to the megathread in this subreddit, for DV Dark Room, using the "cinema" preset and the other suggested setting. Dolby Vision content in Netflix just seems too dim. Cinema home with AI Brightness (so DV IQ) looks brighter much better, but I'd prefer not to have the TV artificially messing with brightness. Is Netflix Dolby vision content usually just dark in general? I had the same issue on my older TCL TV. I have not really tried DV content from anywhere outside of Netflix so far, so it is possible it is just a Netflix thing.
EDIT: okay so i take all this back. The issue is that certain content on Netflix just has increasingly shitty DV, and some are great. Cinema mode with dark room settings look amazing in DV with Our Planet on Netflix, even in daylight.
Seeing the new game Dark Fate Defiance is, could it be happening with the show as well?
Iβve been looking for a new series similar to Good Girls and found it. Dark Desire has the same elements (suspense, darkness, plot twists, although missing the comedy).
But what I canβt get over is how much the Alma-Dario relationship is similar to Rio and Beth. And Dario looks so much like Rio.
If I wanted to understand the references to Nietzsche in the series Dark, on Netflix, what would be the first Nietzsche book I should read?
Such a great mind bender. Have you read anything that reminds you of this show?
The video looks much brighter, warmer, and more natural when I use Chrome. However, when I play Netflix on Edge, it is super dim and washed out (i.e. inaccurate cooler tones). I have Night Light on, and it works for Chrome but not for Edge.
Any idea why this happens? It looks like Netflix is investigating this issue, but their answer is very vague.
Thanks in advance! My fiancΓ©βs momβs english isnt great so we like to watch with subtitles while she listens to the korean audio. I think weve exhausted every top 10 list that ive found. Seems like not much has come out this year other than tv shows, but surely im just oblivious and theres some hidden gems
The powers at CBS seemed to have kept the cast of Discovery totally in the dark regarding the possible cancellation of the international distribution on Netflix this week.
Many actors were still doing conventions in Europe last weekend to promote the international start of Season 4 on Thursday. Now the show will only stream in the US and Canada this week. Many European countries will have to wait 6-12 months before it will legally available in their markets. As a result of this development the cast who was promoting the show abroad already received a lot of hate reactions on social media. Actors were accused of false advertising.
An angry Anthony Rapp (Stamets) reacted with multiple tweets in the night. The content was unusual critical regarding CBS/Paramount plus:
βI hereby reach out to our many international #StarTrekDiscovery fans, who are understandably upset at the last-minute news that you wonβt get to experience Season 4 until 2022. We cast members just found out about this as well, and we share your disappointment and frustration.
I donβt pretend to understand how these sorts of deals for international rights are made (or unmade). I will say I wish we all had been told that this was coming, so we could have braced ourselves, and then we could have helped spread the word to all of you. [β¦]β

This dropped a couple of days ago, and is well worth a watch. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/coming_home_in_the_dark
Unfortunately this got lost in lockdown during it's cinema release.
The gloom seeps from every frame, and full credit to the lighting and photography team for the mood they create. A mention should also go out the the all cast but particularly the actor portraying Mandrake, Daniel Gillies. Menacing doesn't even come close to describing his performance.
Warning: If you want a cheerful Christmas movie this isn't it.
2021 Sundance and Fantasia Fest selection Coming Home in the Dark is now available on Netflix! While more of a thriller with horror elements, itβs exactly the kind of movie that will play well to certain people here, mostly for how it approaches a well-trod subgenre with interesting ideas and exceptional performances.
I went in blind and feel thatβs the way to go (but isnβt that the case for most movies?)
If not, you really should it relates to a lot of topics I see talked about on here- parallel realities, the future impacting the past, time not being linear, the particle, dark matter. If anyone has seen it what do you make of it in regards to this?
Whew just getting to be too many buzz words and terms. Think I'm going to try to tune out for a bit now that V2 is done (wish me luck I'll likely be back here tomorrow). Have a Merry Christmas everyone!
What are some shows similar to Dark or for a matter of fact, short series which are worth the watch?
Hi all. something i recently noticed when watching DV content on my LG CX with Apple TV4K. I will load up a show, recently i tested this with Arcane and Peaky Blinders Season 5 which is dolby vision 4K. The picture mode im on is Cinema Home which has OLED light maxed at 100. It starts really nice and bright. and literally after 1-2 seconds it gets much darker to the point where its almost too dark for my liking in a pitch black room. but SOMETIMES it doesnt do this. so strange. this only happens with netflix so far. Any ideas?
Have already seen: Mindhunter, The break, true detective, manhunt, stranger things, nightwalker, dont f with cats, narcos, peaky blinders, fargo, dark, sherlock, sinner, bodyguard, squid games, breaking bad, punisher, blacklist, daredevil, better call Saul.
Edit: added few I've seen but missed to add.
Urasawa's manga are Monster, 20th Century Boys, Pluto and Billy Bat
What I'm looking for are stories with
a great sense of mystery with satisfying payoff
a plot which follows multiple storylines intertwining
It could be with or without supernatural or sci-fi elements, as long as it does have a good sense of mystery and scale. I'm open to pretty much every medium (movies, tv shows, anime, manga, videogames)
Hi everyone. I was seeing Dark at Netflix and realized how happy I was because everyone had a watch. Even toddlers. Of course it represents a lot because time is a central figure in the plot. But I was kind of happy...rsrses
Bad part is that there are no close-ups....so hard to identify....
Keep safe you all!
I have the ATV connected via a 2.1 HDMI port using authentic 8K cable to my lovely OLED TV, got 4K SDR as default with dynamic content and frame turned on for ATV, also high speed internet 500mbs.
Whilst watching any of the Netflix content type (Dolby, HDR, HD etc) when I go back to the menu option from what is currently playing (e.g to change episode) the screen will turn all black for 3-5 seconds before going back to menu, same will happen as I switch to play any of the content.
Sorry if this has been asked already, I am really annoyed so will appreciate your help.
P.S those arguing over whether itβs worth getting ATV, worth every penny, couldnβt tolerate new LG interface and you get gigabit Ethernet, as I am also owner of LG B9.
Hi, recently started to be very interested in various armies and lore, basically everything concerning GW games including Warcry and Underworlds. I subscribe for Netflix and HBO and wonder if there are some series or movies with Warhammer vibe. Thanks for suggestions
