A list of puns related to "Craits"
So wait a secondβ¦ how did the galaxy learn about Lukeβs little appearance on Crait? Did the first order live stream it on YouTube or did the escaping resistance team of 40 survivors drop it in their Instagram?
Seriously though. It would be easy to dismiss the whole thing as a story but i donβt even understand how people would even hear the story or believe it in universe.
Did i miss something or just another plot hole?
So Crait is a planet full of salt right? Wouldnβt this planet be highly contested by various governments and merchants and crime lords as salt is a very valuable material that would be worth a lot of money? I mean I can buy that major factions like The First Order might not really know of the planet but I find it odd that groups like The Black Sun donβt know of the planet even by accident.
Second, is it cold or hot there? Iβm assuming that it would technically be considered a desert planet so Iβd imagine itβs arid and probably humid, but in The Last Jedi itβs shown that the First Order used snowtroopers, implying itβs cold.
Third, why was the planet abandoned by the rebellion? Wouldnβt they try using the exports of salt to help rebuild the New Republic after the Galactic Civil War or at the very least have some military force there to keep illegal exportation of salt on the black market? I mean weβre shown only the upper echelons of The Resistance know of the planet and that it was used as a secret base, so that implies some top secret rebel force wouldβve been stationed there right? So why would they leave, especially with the rising threat of the First Order?
Last, what do the foxes eat and drink? Not as important a question as Tauntauns are a thing and I donβt think that underground grass painting Ralph made is cannon or not. I mean I guess the foxes eat salt but what about water?
All the hate for the speeders in that Book of Boba Fett episode is so over the top. Crait is just an echo chamber of "The franchise is dead". They loved the Mandalorian in 2020 and now they say it was mediocre to fit the narrative that everything Disney has done is shit.
I'm not pro-Krayt by any means. I've been criticised on there several times for saying the ST was a disappointment because they were just a bad copy of the OT, to cash in on nostalgia. Disney did badly there but not everything they have done to Star Wars is bad. Crait is so overly dramatic at the moment. I can't stand how polarised the Star Wars fandom is. There's no room for any nuance. It's either everything Disney bad or everything Disney good.
I have a complete Hot Toys Luke Skywalker (Crait) in excellent condition - $290 shipped.
I will send timestamped photos through PM.
I was a teen for all of the Matrix films, saw them all on the big screen. Back then, I did a bunch of rewatches of the first movie, but the second and third I've only watched in the cinema. Looking back now, I overvalued the first movie, and was too critical of the second and third movies. Like all of Zack Snyder's DC work, as well as The Rise Of Skywalker, I had to rewatch the Matrix trilogy to let go of what I expected the movies to be, and appreciate what the director(s) actually tried to do.
Looking back, there's a lot of movies which I loved from the very first time that I watched them, but there's also plenty of stuff that I only really started to appreciate upon my second or third watch. I am now wondering what else I dismissed after one try even though I might've really enjoyed it if I had gone back for seconds.
Do any of you have movies (or other types of media) which you strongly disliked when you first experienced it, only to enjoy or even love it when you gave it a second chance?
ok so at the end of TLJ it shows the stable boys recounting the battle of Crait and Lukeβs last stand but how did the rest of the Galaxy know about it? I mean wouldnβt it be dismissed as Resistance properganda and even if the first order told people to the untrained eye it appears as If supreme leader Ren stabbed and killed Luke as he vanished right after being stabbed in the chest so how exactly has the story spread to inspire people?
i wonder if it would have been better to have Luke not fatally fight Kylo defeat him then have the stormtroopers telling the story after they witness that Ren isnβt invunrable and maybe witnessing one of their own willing to sacrifice themselves after defeating Phasma
I'm a bit confused about which subreddit is which. Because there are three subreddits with the same name. Is this the one where people complain about Star Wars or the one where people make fun of people complaining about Star Wars? And is the subreddit that is not either of those two just a normal star wars discussion subreddit?
She three-in-one destroys TIEs when the Falcon arrives and every other shot hits its target. If her powers were related to the strength of Poppa Palps, if you put Palps in a spaceship, would he have the same accuracy and abilities?
Edit: how awesome would it be to see sheev in a ship wrecking shit
