Cornwell Tools Puns

First, to put this out there: I have a Cornwell cart, and I like it. And would like the colors to match, at least pretty close. It's the light gray with black handles. I have another contact for Snappy, but harder to track him down.

I'm looking for a box, as I am running out of room quickly in the cart. We do have all the trucks (I stay off Snappy as mentioned above) and have good relationship with them all. I pay above any minimum payments, paid off the cart in 3 weeks, and buy a decent amount from them.

I was really thinking about the Cornwell, especially when they were (possibly still are?) Running the promo for the free hutch with box. Credit is good for finance account, I really don't want to truck account anything like that, just because of payments weekly (nor should he have to carry that balance on his books like that).

I like the MTO options for Mac, but I had a cart on order, told 10-12 weeks, and cancelled it after 6 months. Could get the color just right, or dang close, but to what wait? It could also be one that is pretty available, and I already have an account with them, which may be beneficial.

The Matco options are plenty, but colors are off (not that it's a deal breaker really, but spending that much I would like it to be as close as possible) and the dealer is pretty new, last few years. Truck is pretty empty compared to the others. Today was the first time I've seen him have any kind of new box, had a used cart a few weeks ago, but nothing else since.

Any issues with any of these that would make you lean one way or the other? Haven't decided on trading the cart in or keeping it for a diag/quick service cart.

Aircraft mechanic here.. finally found a unicorn in my area and got a Cornwell guy coming on Wednesday to sell us some stuff. Recommend anything in particular? Does anyone else use Cornwell?

Recently got a cornwell truck in my area. How would you describe their products vs snap on? Looking for cost vs quality. I’ll mainly be upgrading some cheaper specialty tools I’ve had for years.

I found this 18"x1/2" breaker bar in grandpa's tool set a few years back, and have been using it to break tough stuff ever since (bent a few cheaters on it). Suffice to say, its Skookum as Frig. Today I found out Cornwell is still in business, and and was wondering if the company still made skookum tools? Id like to get my hands on a 1/2" deep socket set if I can!

Brand new cornwell tools angled die grinder. Was gifted to me while in California but I prefer my trusty Mac one. Has box and air hose adapter. Retails for $95.

I'm not a mechanic and I know next to nothing about cars other than how to drive them. I love this sub because I learn a lot and in the future I hope to learn a lot more.

However, I must ask, what is the big deal about all these tool boxes? What is the general purpose of spending that much money on a toolbox? Can you not just go to home depot and get any old set of drawers? I can't comprehend what use a cabinet provides that enables it to be priced in the tens of thousands

amazon, ebay, craigslist is starter websites.  I am still recieving IFTT notifications for items I wanted to buy yet its no longer an actual webservice (webcrawler).

Therefore I am on the lookout for a more advanced tool buying tactic, website, webcrawler.  Idont want to spend more than a few hours a week searching for tool deals.

Im wanting to get some of the more used size sockets in swivel form, but im not an actual tech ( home shop) so i cant justify $50 or so for a socket, but id like to stay with snap-on, matco, mac, so i was wondering if the ebay route was an ok thing to do? Obviously i wouldn't buy anything beat to hell and back and expect a long life, and i wouldnt ask for a warranty, (no dealer anyway) but i havnt been into the high end stuff for long enough to know if the used stuff is still worth half off. I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

I'm looking for a used tool chest on wheels. I don't see a need to have a Snap On or other high end tool company box (MAC). I spend my money on my Wright, Cornwell and SK tools with some MAC. I see nothing wrong putting these in a decent Craftsman or Husky.

Am I missing something?

We told her she can lean on us for support. Although, we are going to have to change her driver's license, her height is going down by a foot. I don't want to go too far out on a limb here but it better not be a hack job.
