A list of puns related to "Comics Alliance"
as far as I know, the thrawn comic was based on the first book in the series. Is it safe for me to move on to the second book in the series, or would you recommend reading the book even though they both share the same majority of the story.
Thanks!
Edit: Thanks everyone! I have now placed an order for physical copies of the Thrawn Trilogy π
Edit: July 19th, I finished with all three books! Great trilogy!
Hello all,
In promotion of both Ultimate alliance 1 (in 2006) as well as Ultimate alliance 2 (in 2008), 2 small promo comics were released for each game respectively, with amazing cover art by Gabriele Dell'Otto. The thing is, I am completely oblivious to what the comic inside is. Covers are available online, but any contents inside the 2 books are, at least to my knowledge, unavailable online unless shelling out hundreds of dollars for them on eBay. My question is, does anyone know what was inside these books? Also, does anyone know how they were distributed? Thankyou.
Any Thoughts
I was wondering if, in the countless works that take place in the original trilogy timeframe in the EU, if any works showed how Garm bel Iblis had a fight with Mon Mothma and left the Rebellion? As far as I can tell, the only work depicting this event was in the Thrawn Trilogy Sourcebook by West End Games.
You would think something as major as a founder of the Rebellion leaving would have been covered in a comic book or novel? Has any comic or novel directly shown this? Do even any of Tim Zahn's OT era novels show this event? I just wanted to ask to see if I wasn't missing anything.
in the final issue of the comics Eugene and some other people from the commonwealth are building a railroad that will connect the Commonwealth with the "Western Alliance" but it is never stated as to what this alliance is about or how big it is all we know is that it exists
Sorry if this is off-topic, mods, I just know there's a lot of comic book fans here who could help. Feel free to remove if this is a no-no.
I'll start off by saying that I don't want to bury myself under tons of reading material, but I'd love to dip my toes into some of the newer/best stuff. I've been recommended Nextwave since I like Elsa Bloodstone in MUA3, but other than that my list is pretty empty.
I already like Spidey, Iron Man and Hulk just from the MCU stuff, and I really like Psylocke, Nero Iron Fist and Wolverine in MUA3 but I have no idea where to get started with any of them. I've not seen any of the X-Men movies (though from what I've heard that's a good thing).
So yeah, any help would be much appreciated! Especially on getting started with Spider-Man, he's a fave.
Edit: everyone has been super helpful, thank you! I'm heading to bed (lol timezones) but I'll be checking all of the replies when I next get the chance!
1.a. Anime Alliance consists of: Naruto Uzumaki, Ichigo Kurosaki, Natsu Dragneel, Monkey D. Luffy, Son Goku, Eren Yeager, Izuku Midoriya, Alucard, Gon Freecss, Rias Gremory, and Meliodas
(Respectively from Naruto, Bleach, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Hellsing, Hunter x Hunter, High School DxD, and Seven Deadly Sins).
1.b. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, the Flash, Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), Shazam, Power Girl, Zatanna
Special Rules
Despite being in Shinigami form, which would normally make him invisible to everyone, Ichigo can be seen.
Zatanna can't immediately throw the Anime Alliance into any alternative dimensions to win.
Alucard is Pre-Schrodinger, barring round 3, and can access Lvl 0 without external commands.
Golden Superman can't be brought up since he'd literally tank everything thrown at him and that doesn't make for a fun discussion.
Battle takes place in an already ruined Metropolis.
Rounds
Everyone has standard equipment and limited by morals, (except Alucard, because... well, you know...)
Same as round 1, but Batman has prep and info on all opponents, and everyone is willing to kill as a last resort.
Everyone is bloodlusted and fighting at maximum strength, i.e. Six Paths Sage Mode for Naruto, One for All 100% for Izuku, etc.
